@drlokeshyadav761665 flame temperature of single candle and flame temperature produced by lighting 100 candles will be same...if you want to cook food in cooker using candles try cooking by lighting 100 candles...i guess...the cooker would surely whistle

It will have an effect. Try cooking rice on high flame as well as low flame in kitchen someday. You will know the difference. Expected to eat brown rice in the first case :P

This year, the 40k - 50k students, who we all refer to as serious candidates, are all getting marks in the range of 80-100. And no one knows for sure, whether it's 80 or 100. But, only 4k will go through (UR). Mains jitna subjective ban gaya hai Prelims..

Not even 300 people cmntd their marks here.no way 40k to 50k would get beyond 80.not even 6000 general students will get that even by bs coaching keys.

Temperature of the flame can be thought of as not high and low flame in your gas stove...please see the link below

and now tell whether it matters?

Really dicey! No one is safe in the range of 80-100. Anyone can hear that "ding" sound on 26th after the 'Ctrl + F' ->Roll no ->Enter button.

How ethical is it that we sometimes try to defend our answers inspite of commonly accepted facts, given that if we had known/recollected the fact in the exam we might have marked differently in the exam. For Eg : I marked the Montagu question as neither as i forgot the fact that women were given separate electorate. If i had remembered this point I also would have marked the question as b. But even then I would try to vehemently argue my case to justify my answer by referring to various sources/keys which makes me think I am being a bit fictitious. I would think in all probability UPSC would go with commonly accepted facts coinciding with NCERT or basic understanding rather than complex mental gymnastics. This is not an observation of anyone, but purely a self reflection. Wonder how many of us arguing for a particular answer would still have marked their answer if they knew the relevant info.(whilst giving the paper) that they know after giving the test.

@toooldtodieyoung Very valid point but doesn't matter. If people did not defend their answers so vehemently, we would not have had people claiming reduction of 25-35 from UPSC keys in comparison to coaching keys.

I understand its upsetting to bring things contrary to common facts, and no one likes their scores to float down...but at times we could still learn from each other's perspectives, which could help us in future!

is separate electrode same as reservation? Just asking

"The Government of India Act of 1935 extended the principal of communal representation by providing separate electorates for depressed classes (scheduled castes),womenand labour (workers). Indian Councils Act, 1909 also introduced the system of separate electorates for Muslims"

@GOT8 my understanding would be that they are not the same, but a seperate electorate would have the component of reservation in the way it is implemented. So if women were given seperate electorate, there would be seats reserved for them and only women would be allowed to vote for those seats. So reservation is implicit.
