Mains 2019 Preparation and Discussion Thread

@Raja123But looking at toppers, their strategies,coaching institutes directions I should have got 30s in each paper.Even in this attempt I read of answer writing,join this coaching,do essay writing(did'nt do essay writing this time also and filled all 48 pages with decent essays) etc.
I have'nt done anything-I just made optional handwritten notes worth 1507 pages and gs notes worth 1500 pages over 5 years.Mugged them up several times and reproduced in exam

@Raja123No but I wish to say the preparation which toppers say about like doing answer writing,writing 6-7 essays before exam,joining coaching etc.I have'nt done any of it

Bro i appreciate your honesty. Please understand that not every body are all talented as you. If exam was that easy, please qualify and show to world how easy it is, till that time no one believes you. I think you may get top 10 mains mark, if you are being really honest

@azam-imame434Yeah u r right.I think I am being overboard on the topic.Maybe every person is different,has different strategies and different interests.
What works for one may not work for another.I should stop worrying about what others say or do and instead focus on my interview prep(or next year pre's prep if need arises).

@azam-imame434And yes exam is not easy.Writing those 3000 pages and mugging them up was hell.They may help,may not but I wrote all this on the forum as was feeling anxious after reading those horror stories.

If u made notes from the Hindu for 3 years in continuity ur score was too low, u should have scored 120 avg. In 3 years the Hindu covers almost everything mentioned in our syllabus.
