Mains 2019 Preparation and Discussion Thread
Now that 1 week is over, it is time to shift focus to Mains. With barely 103 days left there is no time to waste.
I will chip in with some arguments. Haven't followed this discussion but to answer your question as to who caused partition.
Our forefathers did it. Not Gandhi and Nehru alone. Every individual esp in the North is responsible for it. It is to be noted that India as we understand today is an outcome of British conquest and consolidation, and in all likelihood it would not have existed at all.
When communal thinking took hold of almost everyone, notable exceptions being Gandhi and Nehru who appealed for peace and compassion, nobody paid heed. It also brings out the fact that indians are inherently communal, leaders do not drive their instincts and thoughts. They at best try to quell this thinking. This had been happening all along at least since 1905, and increased in intensity thereafter aided by the administration. More than anything it was the administration which brought communalism to the centrestage of politics in India.
What you need to question is whether the adage history repeats itself is true. Partition was a political settlement. All of Muslims didn't migrate there not did all the hindus migrated from there. But the current step would definitely make it psychological and emotional.

Results are probably near...anxious times..anyone veteran here jisne kbhi mains me socha ho ki haan paper toh achhe gaye the ..selection for interview is highly probable...then na hua ho ? What were your thoughts? What might have been the mistakes?
Happened last year.. Had given everything to Preperation.
Notes Revise, Test Series. Got 772, cut-off was 774. Felt devastated. Literally shattered. Tabse ab tak self-belief has been on a lower side.
I knew GS-2 went disaster after leaving 30 marks. But felt little confident in GS-3 and GS-4 and little satisfied in Optional.
Lekin GS-1,3 aur 4 sab dooba aur saath mein main bhi doob gaya. Was very difficult to recover and thought to skip 2019 attempt. But then u know family pressure and all to get rid over this prep phase, so gave 2019.

@STI too went through a similar phase. Got 772 but missed out by 2 marks, even though I was expecting better. Nevertheless resilience is something I truly believe in. "Why do we fall Bruce? So we can learn to pick ourselves up."

ABSOLUTELY !! We must pick ourselves up. We must and We have to!

Brother not better than previous year. As I have mentioned in some place on forum, this time conditions were not favorable. Hectic Office, Leave Issues, Election Duty, Health Issues, Family Issues
