Rewatching GOT,now getting the outrage regarding later seasons.1st time i watched i saw dip in quality in later seasons but not so much.but now seeing how good s1 is(especially writing).

Writing is good because DnD stuck to the books.

GRRM is an amazing and an under appreciated writer. Dude, maybe I’ll start GoT once again, season 1-4 are such a feast to consume.

S1E1 has such great dialogues; “Man who passes the sentence should swing the sword.”

For an insecure person like me Tyrion’s first humanising line hits at the perfect sensitive spot, “Never forget what you are. The rest of the world will not. Wear it like armor, and it can never be used to hurt you.”

The Language, the flow and the delivery is natural and medieval-like. Pacing is good, Characters and Plot take their sweet time to grow and set up.Early seasons do indeed have the Magic and Blood in them to give light to the dark fantasy world of GoT.

As a 9-10th grade student I started GoT for the ashlel things, but Ned Starks death got me hooked in. Ahahah, bas hogaya abh.

TBH I miss early forum people who had GoT references in their name, there was this guy called kingslayer, mgp list me he would always be there. Neyawn would know him ig. Wherever he is, I know he’s happy ^_^.

Rahy baat about this week? Well not a good performance in SFG. Talked to mentor this Wednesday and well we both ended up praising each other xD. Mustafasa sir hai ( if anyone’s interested) he is a good guide and an interesting person.

Mains prep isn’t disappointing, just ‘hope’ ki SFG Mai acha performance aajata. But lol hope Karne se kya hoga, you have to grind. Took things a lil bit lightly and learnt a lot. Anyways, i have tier 2, 20th ko, toh I can be the sore loser that I’m and do ‘blame shifting’ ki tier 2 ke Karan week wasn’t good xD

And hmm @bihar_se_hai bhai, thanks to you, maybe I’ll treat this thread as my digi diary xD expect good insights, thoughts and of course crazy GoT quotes from now onwards xD

Ohh also dauntless and other sfg people from old days are killing it yaar. This week I realised, most of the people who are acing sfg are managing mains+ prelims. Be it offline crowd or online crowd. Gives you an idea where the competition is actually.

Now if for me to get a 70+ score requires a good 4-6 hours of study, but for them it’s just ehh 2-3 hours at max. Basically I’ll have to grind aur acheseee.

My username is somewhat inspired from tyrion quote only.saw people in college having inferiority complex about language and trying to adapt.i never did.

Miss good old days where i could binge watch.saw GOT in a week.have not seen any big series in past 3 years...top 3 in list to watch post exam is succession,BCS and sopranos.

uffff. Hope I use this to get back on track. It's okay. Mains ko mostly yeh week baju mai rakh(?). Revise Econ(sfg) + half pol2. hmmm.

Envi ko gear up kar. And Itna hone ke baad hi think about hindi ->ethics notes->socio ->ca ( yahi order mai).

instant gratification ke chakkar mai mat jaa. Nahi hai time tere pas. no roadies, no loose talk, no cricket, no insta, no twt, no youtube. No random delulu imagination. NO new show. Dont even think about pataal lok S2. tu S1 bhul gaya hai,S2 kya hi dekhega.

In a crucial zone jaha ik im not doing neither mains nor pre ,achese due to xyz reasons. Who cares about reasons, output dikha muje tu and output is shit. Toh ya, ese time mai focus on pre, get it right achese and then work on mains. Last 5-6 days were not that great.

Kher it's not late. get up and go ahead, isiliye hi sfg join kia haina? you know you lack discipline and consistency. You can always learn that. It's not too late. Machaa dal.

Shaddi hai, etc etc. Doesn't matter, balance things out. Have a strong mental resolve and be sincere and dedicated towards studies yar. Light leke nahi chalega. Umar gayi abh light lene ki. Chill carne ki. I aiNt nO chiLl guY anYmore.

You dont need anyone to study. Kisi ko call karne ki zarurat nahi hai. It's you and just you. It's okay mood nahi hai. Mood pe duniya nahi chalti. Do your duty, and it's rn to study. uUFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF.

Abh itna dump karne ke baad bhi mene ppadhai nahi ki na toh mere se bada joker koi hai nahi yahan. Kya kaam hai tere pas padhai ke alawa? Im having sleep-full days and nights :D nahi. This will lead to sleepless nights later.

Utah envi gup chup Abh. Fod dal kal ka paper ( priority 1) and then think about econ/polity. Seriously envy people who are disciplined and consistent. Negative mat ban, envy hone se kya hoga. be a student and try to learn and acquire those traits. Reasons mat de. Walk the damn talk.

@DancingMaster I get inspired by these YPT people studying daily 11-12 hours on stretch. Being a working aspirant, I consider it a win if I cross 5 hours for 5 days and then do or die for next two days on weekends. And notification is coming in 3….2………….1

Ajka SFG was okok, I mean 61 isn't that good of a score but better than my last performances, given ki kal mene thoda bohot padh lia. Thodasasa back in the groove.

Targets : Kuch bhi karke :

PMF ias nipta dal + quick notes of a topper se go through + SFG envi value add.

Guess I'm into degradation kin&, kal Sharam ke mare thoda bohot padh lia mene.

Now ajj pure din and rat hai mere pas, it's not even 7 am. Toh chalo itna kar lo. And Kal se fir you'll have time for hist ncerts etc.

Be calm and composed, Don't shut down and stop functioning due to minute anxiety. You can get things under control. One at a time. Tbh ajke ke targets kar lega tu( abh sharam ke mare kar).

Does anyone have tips on improving attention span/ quickening revision? Takes me 5 hours to get through 15 pages. And the material is not even new, just something that I am studying after a gap of 2 years. Plus the degree alongside. Not enough time and my brain is super slow when I do sit to study.
