how is public administration as an optional performing?

So I have someone who wants to switch from maths to pub ad.

I am not aware of how pub ad is doing, what is the average score. Are there any folks with pub ad mains and interview experience who can throw some light into it?

It has seen a resurgence in scores. Have seen people getting in 270-280.
But again average trend remains around 230-260 owing to current pattern of marking in optionals.
