I have been terminated from a Public sector bank recently on the grounds of unauthorised absence. Does this termination makes me unfit for any future Government employment?

It depends whether one has been "removed" from service or "dismissed" from service. In case of "removal" there is no bar on taking up a future government job. In case of "dismissal" one becomes ineligible for any government job.

UPSC CSE NOT-SUCCESSFUL-YET PAIN STORIES !

If I were you I would not second guess my decision at this stage. Barring a few, almost everyone is uncertain just before prelims. One is not really in the right frame of mind to assess one's preparedness at this time.

It is total confusion. They are going to release service allocation today or tomorrow. Why not marks?

@capricornape In the current scenario IAAS may be much better than IRS. IRS service profile is going through tremendous changes. No one is sure how it will eventually pan out. But everyone is sure that it is going to be a pale shadow of its form...
