CSAT DAILY MISSION #71

Read the passage and answer the items that follow:

Life is a struggle. “We live in deeds and not in years “. If we rest we rust. If we work we shine like jewels. Adventures are the essence of life but action also entails contemplation. Proper action or initiative needs a well thought-out plan. Napoleon acted. But he took the wrong initiative and brought about the downfall of France. The wise always take “proper” action. Wise people always foresee the hardships for executing a policy. All great leaders and diplomats take decisions also keeping in view the possible outcomes of these decisions.
We should strike when the iron is hot. Some people take this step without contemplation, with the result that they lose their opportunity, and are thus considered as fools. The enlightened are wise people and are very particular about the timing and effect of their action. It has been the aim of all philosophers to understand the world. After understanding they move very gradually, and not like fools who plunge into the situation without contemplation. Mr. Ayub Khan under Bhutto’s influence plunged into war with India inflicting destruction onto humanity. Our former Prime minister Lal Bahadur Shastri responded to the challenge of Pakistan and won the battle. Fools meddle with situations without bringing about any change but wise persons penetrate into the matter and take the appropriate action, heralding a new beginning.

Going along this line 1 + 2 + 3 + ….. + 13 = 91. Then, when the next batch starts, the ninth alphabet will be the hundredth alphabet of the entire series. The ninth alphabet from ‘A’ is ‘I’.
