In Ques.54, forum's simulator says Shiwaliks are not found in Arunachal Pradesh. Can anyone clear my doubt, were Dafla, Abhor and other hills not the part of Shiwaliks?

One of the answers says that Gir is the only place Asiatic lions are found. What about Bannerghatta National Park?
4.3k views
@akkadbakkadIt is a very well established fact that Asiatic Lion are limited to Gir NP.

In Q25 about Stubble Burning, can we not create such GM crops which would have shorter or even negligible stubble and hence solving the Stubble burning issue?

@Utkarsh_DeepBut there are Asiatic Lions in Bannerghatta NP https://indianexpress.com/article/cities/mumbai/telangana-agrees-to-transfer-two-pairs-of-lions-to-sgnp-7622919/

@akkadbakkad it’s a safari. That is not its natural habitat. Just Google about Bannerghatta and your doubt will be resolved.

@akkadbakkad they may be found in Bannerghatta because of translocation. The only natural habitat in Asia and world is Gir

@Shan_tanuyes, but the statement in Q says that they are only found in Gir, there is no mention of natural habitat. Similar eg. - After african cheetahs are introduced in Kuno NP, can we say that cheetahs are found in India? As it Kuno is not their natural habitat.

@farejul , Do we have an option to challenge these questions, like we had in SFG?
