This was a tough one imo. Started out with ethnoarchaeology and the study of that guy (forgot his name) among the Inuits. Moved on to India and the various hunting gathering tribes, example of the Sentinelese and and their tools( basic comparison with lithic tools) Birhor and their storage huts, shifting agriculture and burial practices etc.@princessconsuela488

@sat_009in role of media i wrote case study of UNESCOs community radio in some village in jharkhand. ( forgot the name)
ngo: dhebar commission, search in gadchiroli, agragamee, anahad, and some more ngos sector wise such as education, reservation (Dalit adivasi jeevan jyoti foundation), traffickimg, entrepreneurship..... crticism from debhar commission and ncst report

impact of industrialisation: Roudolph and Rouodolph book " pursuit of laxmi " rise of new capitalist class, pavan k verma and ashutosh varshaney on joint family. my approach was basically writing view of anthropologists. i did not write any specific case study. only LP vidyarathi study of industrialisation in tribal bihar. i moulded it to fit rural aspect.

impact of non hindu: positive aspect: only generic points with no specific case study
some negative points mentioning problem remains: Andre betillie study on sc christins in tanjore, buddhists divided in two groups instead of four, mazabis sikhs, arzal muslims.

tribal unrest: examples from africa where coumtries divided artifically not respecting tribal sentiments, and rest from indian context

Ngo question was critical analysis. . So started with few welare works. . Quoted dhebar. . Few examples. . Later on made criticism of it which form bulk of my answer. . Given the case study. .IB report, CAPART study , other criticism of xaxa, dhebar etc

@Anthromanthis is good answer i knew the same but impact of buddhism on tribe was not scoring for me hence had to leave plus too much history in independence question could have worked against henve avoided this question

@chaitanya0458last year i got 125+128.. i wrote very generic points n left around 60 marks question ( VG CHILDE+ autosomal diseases+poor evolution of diseases+ agrarian structure+ economic classification by anthropologists)

@HaeckelIn selection of questions i give preference to 20 marker if i know sufficiently well and rest two are not unknown,
i left this becoz little and great tradition was asked in very novice way what if he doesnt like my example whole of 20 marks are gone

@zombieland60 marks added together in both paper na

i guess everyone wud write good content in nearly 150 marks and avg content in 60-70 marks and below avg or poor one in remaining. The more we maximise first two categories the more r the marks

@sat_009@Anthromanhow do you guys use case studies. I try to build an entire point around it rather than throwing it around at places. But this leads to me using fewer case studies in my answers, other people seem to use a lot more.
