Hello 2021 aspirants. I thought it would be nice if we can share what we are doing and intend to do with one another here.
This could be a thread for discussing everything prep for 2021.
No one method fits all but to see the plans and progress made by fellow aspirants might help with the finer details of preparation and also keep one on track.

I must tell you, Chhole Bhature are such a godsend. On 11th, I went and had them. Trust me, I could feel all the pain and stress of the exam vanishing with each bite. Please have them! :D
And don't order no, go out and eat!
Think food is one of the few things where addiction is harmless and is a huge stress reliever in this exam context. Doesnt take up much time too :)
Agree with you that food thread is much needed here and sad to see no mindless debate on best biryani. (I am from HYD, so I am game :P)Jokes apart, so fortunate to see huge food diversity in India. None can really beat India on this :)
Bhai, At least Awadhi vs Hyderabadi is a legit debate.
Unlike some others trying to create a forced rivalry. Yes, Kolkata Biryani, I am looking at you!
Hello friends I write this with as much frustration as you can imagine a bread to have (hoti h). For the past 2 days I have relatives over/ some or the other bum-job errand to run and today seems to be no different as already I’ve been told that I have more relatives coming over. Mere studies ki band baj rahi h iss chakkar m. On top of that setting targets and not being able to meet them is leading to more anxiety, so no targets for today, will update aaj raat ko how much I got done. Also in other news, I really want to eat chole- bhature, but this clean eating nonsense thing I’m trying out is getting in the way.
More pav-er to you folks! (if you thought days of bread jokes were over, think again…)

Fried food= dopamine rush

Jaise songs ka thread hai.. waise hi we should have a thread for food as well. 😂
PS - I am new to Delhi. Any suggestions for chhole bhature places here would be great...
I am missing delhi so so much!
Khaana mane delhi ka khana. Me being a momo, Momo's are my fvrt dish from delhi, next is chole bature, the chole kulche, Kachodi there, what not dude! I miss Delhiiii!
If you want the most calorific food Delhi is the place to be at. Nobody does cardiovascular disease inducing food like Delhi (I feel like I’m stepping on a bunch of toes saying that)

Man how do you do clean eating?! It’s so hard. All the pav-er to you. (Or not) :P
I’m trying this thing called body recomposition, so I eat lots of protein, and moderate fats and carbs. I’ve been dreaming about chole bhature for so long, you have no idea. If I got a mark for mains every time I thought about chole bhature, y’all don’t stand a chance of catching me :P
I’m actually quite good with my eating for the most part, except for when exam stress hits… I’m trying to reset but yeh dil h ki maanta nahi. Does biryani count as protein- carb balance, in which case I had a lot of it for lunch?

Pain and stress vanished like forever? If so any friend from delhi, please parcel me food(momo's and chole bature) :( :(
It vanishes until the next treat. So, constant top-ups are a must! :P
You saying this when you know I can't come and have them :(

Stress and food are siblings for me! I was doing intermittent fasting since last 1 year but when pre came near, I ate anytime I wished and ate anything. I had soo soo much of junk food particularly the packed chips in the last 10 days that I have myself became a potato!!

So days have been feeling like shit because it’s been ages since chola bhatoora khaya maine?
Please have them. Given how my day went that day, it was necessary warna main ro deta. :p
Since past few months, I was relying on brownie or pastries to satisfy my sugar cravings, while forgetting all time great Indian sweets particularly Rasgullas and I was reminded of this sweet only when I was reading about GI tag controversy. Felt bad. So immediately after Prelims, had ordered Gulab Jamun, Rasgulla and Rasmalai from a local sweet shop. And wow, did it feel so heavenly. And once this gets over, I plan to buy Mysore Pak for Diwali. A small weight to pay :)

Wow. This reminds me of so many things. How in College quizzing I loved the questions about Mysore Pak being an accidental invention. How my crush once conducted a cute experiment and stuffed rasmalai syrup in paani puri ki puri in school. How I should maybe go to Delhi for at least eating Paan flavoured kulfi. How during 12th class, i ate choco truffles from mobile bakeries but got tired of these fancy sweets even as they sold like 'hot cakes' in college cafes. Also, where do you plan to get authentic mysore pak from ?
If you guys seriously want to relax and feel the ultimate bliss, just have a plate of chole bhature in dinner, and in dessert, have 2 gulab jamuns(ask for warm ones), and sleep without an alarm. The next morning you will wake up with the greatest feeling EVER!
Nobody asked this, but IDK why I just felt like telling! :P

I, whole heartedly endorse this therapy. Aur gulab jamun ke sath vanilla ice cream le lo toh it's pure heaven! :P Oho!

You know, I have been meaning to ask this to people. What satisfies you guys more? Indian or western/eastern?
I like my pizzas, noodles, and burgers, but I'm satiated only after something Indian.

Here is the food thread.
Yeah, I also feel the same man. Western food holds a special place in my heart, but I dont feel content from it. Indian food is like.. damn.. I am satisfied. Now I can die in peace. :D
