@kohliwag Don't get entangled, take up a job, I will be rejoining the workforce again after Jan, the plan was to rejoin by Oct but delay due to corona botched up my plans. I came into the "Maya" of preparing full time for my 2nd attempt and didn't take up a job in May when the exams got deferred. I regret my decision every day, especially that it's wfh for most companies till 31st Dec. Yeh exam kuch nasha jaisa hain. It's like chasing your crush, very difficult to accept defeat

@Tempo_High_Hain Most practical advice and i second this. A job reduces a lot of pressure and removes uncertainty. At the end we cannot have everything going uncertain in life. Being in a job atleast fixed the financial aspect of me after 3 years of full time prep.

Which field are you in? Considering you joined the workforce after 3 years of gap.

Literally my dream to one day stand here and see my name on this notice board. Just thinking about it gives me goosebumps and it's about to become a reality for 800-odd souls.

Best of luck guys. I still remember how frustrated I was after my mains result. Don't expect too much. Whatever the result may come, take it gracefully and move on as fast as possible.

@dwightschrute We humans are strange creatures, our expectations keep breaking our hearts even after making it to the holy pdf. Some will still be heartbroken for missing their preferred service by a whisker, some getting an 'undesirable' cadre. The list is endless. I don't know what the solution to this is but this is the way we are.

I personally know someone who is an IRS of the 16 batch and still broke down after not being able to clear mains this time as he sacrificed a very lucrative corporate career and thinks nothing less than IAS will justify his decision!

@Tempo_High_Hain  This is so true. Everything depends on perspective. A lot of people will take IRS in a heartbeat.
