@Neyawn i have recently joined Akashwani Prasar Bharti as an assignee announcer. In the DAF, will i mention it as a government job? It's not a permanent employment. I am called only when there is a requirement.

Also, would i need to upload the undertaking wrt having informed the department head?

Please help.

Thank you.

What does your appointment letter say?

@GaryVee I mean I practice but as a salaried employee.

There are three columns for employment in the DAF:

1. Govt/PSUs

2. Private sector

3. Self-employment

If you're a salaried employee at a private hospital, select the second option.

@GaryVee Read somewhere this is your last attempt, and you have psychology optional.

What are you doing about it?

Have you spoken to someone with good score in the subject?

@Neyawn it says: ye koi niyamit rozgar nahi hai. And that we'd be called only when required. Moreover they have mentioned in the letter itself that they have no issue with us seeking employment anywhere.

Sir, what should i mention in the employment columns? Does this qualify as a temporary government service or is it more of a casual work? The employment column asks to select between permanent, temporary and ad hoc.
Thank you.

Pls advise - I have done MA from a Central university in India. Prior to this, I also did a one year degree from abroad. Is it advisable to only put the Indian MA degree....because my DAF becomes too long and I am afraid it will go against me in case I do qualify for the PT. Last year I had provided it and it worked against me. Please do advise and give your honest opinion...Thank you in advance

Does >1000sft flat declaration affect OBC(NC) anyway ? Afaik, after repeal of Wealth Act, Non-creamy is determined only on income (besides sons/daughters of Group A/B officers etc.). Please confirm.

Those are the criteria for EWS. Doesn't impact OBC (NCL) eligibility in any way.

Sorry to post again but would anyone be having any direction with regard to this? Would be immensely grateful...

@GaryVeeThank you very much, spent all day researching about it, you resolved it in one shot :) Any guess, why they would ask this info from everyone then ? (doesnt seem like directed at EWS applicants, as they are declaring it implicitly through their certificate).

Are you asking from the perspective of interview whether it would be advisable or not to mention about the foreign degree?

Or do you want to skip mentioning about the foreign degree and are wondering if it's procedurally okay to not mention it in the DAF?

I don't know if it's mandatory to declare foreign degrees, because they do ask separately about it in the DAF.

I don't think it would be a problem if you skip it but I'm not a 100% sure. Others may guide you better.

Thank you for the reply. Yes, wanted to know about the procedural aspect of it. I believe it should be ok not to mention too...since it is not part of qualification....

@Neyawn @GaryVee  I have filled father's income as 0, although we get a family pension. Have filled mother's income as per her itr. Haven't mentioned family pension, as there was no such coloum. Not an issue right? Not claiming any category benefits.
