What's the consensus on the effects of the Green Revolution on the disparity b/w small and large farmers? 11th NCERT initially says that it did not exacerbate the disparity due to the role of the state (subsidies for HYV seeds and pesticides), while later in the Poverty chapter they state that itdid make the inequality worse.
