Chairman 

Asked me to remove the face-mask  & face shield for photo verification . Said that we want to take 1 minute break and within that 1 minute you can use face wipe to clean your face and spectacles and also  may drink water if you want.  I did all and settle myself down. 

After that , he explained the process  about interview and also said that I may use Hindi or english both if i want. he also mentioned the one thing they want is that .. listen and understand the question very carefully and then respond after thinking.

He started reading information from my  DAF like 10th school , 12th school , college , job , places i lived , my hobbies , achievement and leadership section information.

Asked about my college name  and also my CGPA (is it a misprint )

He said lets start our formal interview Now

6. Can you think about other type of collaboration which is possible [ Talked about interdisciplinary collaboration  among different branches and streams , also about collaboration institute of national importance with private institutes etc
7. NEP is focusing on teaching the trainers : What are the steps taken by GOI to train the teachers ?

Overall, the board was very cordial and polite. They were eager to have a conversation and not a cross-examination (just as mentioned in PT syllabus). Even though the board’s interviews that day were delayed, they did not rush and gave adequate time to answer. The questions were asked mostly from DAF.

Do you believe India is a blessing for the world? (This is from economic survey, but I talked about culture and history - the answer was the India is the pharmacy of the world)
Asked about Medical Technologies - I started to answer about medical tourism, but he interrupted and said to talk about medical technologies. I apologized and he accepted.
He mentioned that pharma industries are polluting. What can be done about them. Short discussion where I mentioned some points. He said ‘we are already doing those things’. I said politely that more can be done sir.
Then he said that in ITIs, there are few courses on chemical industry. What can be done about it.
