@ShubzGood point, if petitioners win case, those ews guys who failed to furnish the certificate but cleared Gen cut off (and thus wrote Mains as General candidates) will be considered as per ews norms too for determination of Mains cut off.

This thing is becoming more chaotic than Coalgate by the day.

@AequitasAre there any law against making someones identity known online, from sources presented by the target himself? I mean, if i slip up and give away glaring hints to my own name, and it gets figured out, that should not be enough to instigate a law suit?

As for ur question, there is something called Doxxing. Nowadays Social Media Sites can block ur handle if u put out someone's info out like his Mobile No. Address or Email I'd.
Just that. Legal action can be taken only if someone used illegal means to get that info.

And what if some idiot doxxes himself?

@HaltIt depends upon the means. If u used already public info and just put it together it ain't illegal atleast not today.

@HaltNews Channels always do this. Without doxxing they can't come up with Profile of someone. - Sportspersons or Politicians, etc
