@sat_009hey.. of the total gs, how much did you attempt which you can now on retrospection call as above average?
@sat_009okay..seems good attempt.. Good luck
@sat_009mere around 180-210 marks below average hue h in my opinion.baaki avg, above avg i'd say.
@ajit_kdstates k naam likhna compulsory nhi tha koi...lekin naam k saath kuch specific factors likhne se hopefully kuchextra marks mil jaenge..examples bhi ethics k paper me isiliye to likhte hain na.
@utkarsh_mishraand that is why i am saying ki agar gujarat likh bhi diya kisi ne..infact maharastra bhi..tobhi zada loss nhi hoga provided he addressed the factors responsible in northwest region
@ajit_kdhaan ho skta hai na mile..lekin that is where the subjectivity in a subjective paper lies..it depends upon the examiner..if he likes the reason enough, he might just overlook this.
@ajit_kdhaan bhai..galat ka ghata to hai hi..no one questions that.
@ajit_kdhaan galat likhne se better hai na likhna...lekin jisne likha use pata hota ki galat hai to kyun hi likhta bhai wo bhi
@Valar_morghulistrue...
@Neyawnthanks for the clarification.. actually the debate was about the GS1 question about the " causes of food processing being more successful in north west india"..How far do you think one who wrote about states like gujarat and maharastra by including them in north west india is going to lose ?
@dr-ahmednaaz8567yeah...that's what i think too.
I dont think it will go as low as 750-760 going by 2018 marking pattern.. it should be somewhere close to 780s.. and by 2017 pattern i think it would be somewhere close to 790-800. There always are people who write good answers to questions however broad they might appear.. But then all this is a mere guess..i might well be wrong.
@ranyo_asokaNo one is interested in this mate
@ranyo_asokaserious sawaal tha ye?pta nhi lag rha iss rajneeti k daur me kuch.
@ranyo_asokaI didnt..Current ki li Forum se.
@sat_009Hey.. You appeared in interview in 2017? Can you tell how was the experience..and also how much did you score in interview.? Just so that we have a rough idea.
@Valar_morghulisI believe you have appeared for interviews earlier..right? How was your attempt this time around?
@sat_009bhai..bataya nhi aapne..how was your interview experience in 2017 and what score you got?
@sat_009arre sorry kaisa bhai.. thanks for sharing
@DKTGood one mate
@paranthapijjahahaha.
@dr-ahmednaaz8567bhai wo so gya haisone toh do chain se.
@vvvikas0078212I think excellent would be given more than 50%. Test series mostly limit themselves to 50%. It would be around 60-70% IMO.
@sat_009i dont think so..because then even for 20 excellent answers, which we all know know one can write, the highest would be 125. People might at best write 10-12 excellent answers, others are good or average. In that case scores in 120s even in 2018 were not possible.
@vvvikas0078212Haan ye mushkil hai..average decide krna is lot easier. I think if you have covered the demand of question with sufficient no. of points for all the parts of question and provided a relevant intro and conclusion, you can assume it to be excellent.. But then, its still an assumption, we might be wrong.
@DKTarre bhai institute chale gye kya?logon ko karara jawaab toh dete jao.. Chalo theek hai.. noon (during your lunch break) me de dena.
@pmishra997125bhai wo gya sone..kal institute jaake copy check krni hai na.
@Biryanimafia_ I agree the questions this year were no where from the coaching materials. But then, the marks which one scores in test series is not just based on content (which again i agree is mostly from their own material). They award you marks also for structuring, presentation and stuff which all helps in improving one's ability to handle the unknown questions which UPSC asked this year. I am not saying 100+ consistently ensures one's selection, but it does give huge advantage vis-a-vis others.
@ChanakyaGenerally I do not engage in political debates, but felt a compulsion reading this comment of yours, which very conveniently ignores the flaws in this government's actions.
When you say CAB and NRC are directed towards outsiders, why does CAB single out a specific community? They say its because our neighbours are primarily islamic majority so they want to help the minorities. What about Rohingya Muslims whom UN called the most persecuted minority?
About government treating all its citizens equally and triple talaq being SC directed, why did the same government did not support the SC ruling in sabarimala which is as much about women equality as is Triple talaq?
My friend, no democratically elected government in its senses can take, asyou wrote "direct" action against a particular minority, Aung San Suu Kyi almost lost her peace nobel due to rohingya issue. Its these small steps which eventually lead to complete isolation and distrust.
@Chanakyabhai..citizenship is being given on the very basis that the six communities are being persecuted in their respective countries..aisa hi hai na? to rohingya nhi ho rhe persecute myanmar me? ya myanmar humare neighbourhood me nhi hai.
- about the third point being redundant, you said no "direct" action has been taken by the government against communities. Whi bta rha mai ki almost direct action liya tha suu kyi ne..haalat dekh hi rhe h sb.
And about your point ki CAB excludes many communities, can you name a few major ones? And how is this discrimination justified?
@Chanakya
please go through this:
https://www.telegraphindia.com/india/sabarimala-verdict-two-stands-on-women-vex-bjp/cid/1719358
“#Sabarimala issue referred to larger bench.… Welcome decision of SC in the direction of protecting rights of devotees & upholding faith…. It was never a matter of fundamental rights…. It was a matter of age old tradition accepted by society…,” BJP general secretary (organisation) B.L. Santosh tweeted.
@ChanakyaI dont suggest we provide citizenship to all, just that if at all it is being given it should be not discriminated on religious basis.
And you are right the government has the right to decide the grounds and people will decide in elections, but then all this debate was not on what is within the powers of the government, it was about the moral correctness of the actions.
I will now opt out of this discussion, as i can see there is no use discussing, as always
@Chanakyahahaha..nice one
@Chanakyahahaha.
@madeyebhai...can you please share the link ?
