Dude, the real question is do we actually know how we did? I think this is a persistent question, especially in the minds of the mains first timers.
We all sure feel something, but honestly there's no objective basis to this feeling, atleast for prelims we could have some basis. I think the entire anxiety surrounding mains result is lack of this basis for whatever we are feeling 🥲

@Tina1997 I think info is genuine. We are being slaughtered like anything. Mains 2020 mein toh as per my knowledge ek hi banda tha jiska top 100 mein Nam tha ( that too because of interview marks of 206/ 212. When the annual report will be out, you just see the hit rate( it would be less than 3percentage) ( compared to 10 percent in anthro psir and socio).Lesson to be learnt:For future aspirant don't take this optional. Yeh duba dalega.
Mai toh Sochi optionals ko bhi cross scaling Karte hai ? Aisa nahi hai kya? Toh yeh maths, engineering, medicine waalon ka aur humanities ke saath kaisa competition ho sakta hai? Unme toh black and white hai, idar toh grey hi grey hai

I can totally understand, you are gonna try and check your worst case possibility. Calculator nikaal ke agar sab subjects ka worst case pakadliya aur cutoff ka best possible scenario leke mera kya ho sakta hai? kya agar worst case scenario ho bhi toh Mai pass hojaunga kya karke check karoge next.
All this so that you can prepare yourself for looking at the result. Take it from me, mai yeh sab soch chuki, kar chuki. Nothing is gonna prepare you for the result, whichever the way the result maybe.
Let it all be, gaana suno, crib karo, do whatever makes you feel better but stop thinking about what happened in the exam. Your anxiety is only gonna make you feel extremely self-critical about yourself at this point.
Take a deep breathe, look at all of us anxious beings and feel better that you aren’t alone in this!
@Tina1997 bhai even though i dont have any of these optionals below i can tell you for sure that this is fake or just made up because if avg is 192 it means people with less than 190 be it 180s or 170s are there in the list which seems impossible. At max it can be average of all mains appeared candidates not the ones in list as he mentioned

I totally agree with what@Ganesh_Gaitonde and@vaibhavvdash75610 are saying. Graveyard or not, the exhaust that this exam causes is real, we all think a lot and choose to go on this path. There are easier ways out there, don’t get sucked into this vicious cycle. Definitely don’t let this exam decide your worth, no exam is that worthy in the first place. To everyone that is already preparing or is just entering the preparation, I personally think it’s best to have an end date in place for this exam. You try only for however hard you wanna try, just coz the exam gives you chance to give 6 attempts, you don’t have to put your life on hold. Practice a thin veil of detachment with this exam.
