Cons outweigh the Pros, especially in today's era where almost all courses are available digitally. The only advantage one will have is the experience of giving tests in offline mode. Otherwise from overpriced small sized rooms to food, everything will be a hassle. I also considered it for a while but after speaking to some friends who have lived there, I decided against it. Though in my case there was one more favourable thing, that my City has offline Centers of decent Institutes so even offline test advantage was not a big factor for me. Consider joining a library in your own City or even taking a room on rent in your own City (if difficult to study at home). There are a lot of things which you don't have to worry about at home. If you can spend around 25k per month in Delhi on Food and Room, then only you will get a decent sized single room.
