@chamomile in my view there is hardly any connection. May be he might had mathematics as optional earlier so wanted to see whether switching optional was a good decision or not!

Lol no ! I just wrote ut has a radar and a launcher vehicle. No one cares about MachineGuns these days. All they care about is Missiles.... * Machine Sad :( *

Hey guys, I'm late to the discussion party but felt like giving an update :p

Had really good hopes with GS (except ethics section A :p) and essay went fine too. But optional went equally down the hill to not even secure interview call. I've a science optional, knew how to derive and solve whatever asked in the paper. Couldn't attempt due to lack of practice to actually do it in exam.

@Purplesunbird seems like you've already given up, did u screw optional that substantially? i still recommend u to be optimistic and prepare subtly for interviews just in case....

Guys in Optional paper 1 , i filled the question cum answer booklet number wrong. I wrote a letter later at the centre saying i filled it wrong but forgot to mention which paper ! Guys what should i do? Please help.

Dont worry. Ur copy will not get rejected. Every year i see some people do such mistakes but their copy is not rejected. For ur own satisfaction u can write letter to upsc.
