My attempt count is also on the higher side bro.

I sincerely wish you the best possible result for this year's exam.

It's hard to focus on another exam right after mains as it's emotionally very exhausting.
But we need to be pragmatic and create as many opportunities as possible for our career.

Give your best for the upcoming UPPSC. All the very best👍

Someone please suggest some good movies to watch ,esp in horror genre. Also ,koi separate thread ho iska toh btao ,i can't find any here .

can check out haunting of the hill house and bly manor.

Thanks for this.

Hill House is my all-time favourite show (even more than Mrs Maisel and the office, though they fall in a different genre altogether). It has a mix of everything- emotions, tragedy, horror, family bonds, love and amazing metaphors. Even after watching it for the 5th time, its beauty still remains unparalleled.
If you like it, you can check out the Reddit thread of it later. There, a user has written the background of each of the ghosts (more like their interlinked story/feud and how the house started feeding on the people).
But without that also, the story of Crains is way too engrossing in itself with the amazing cinematography.

Certainly,it is quite different from other horror movies nd series .Not just its story but also its screen play  is quite unique .

Though I m really enjoying it ( on 8th ep right now) ,i don't think I will try to watch it for 5 timesđŸ˜± . In fact, once it is done,i will take double dose of Andaz apna apna nd Hera pheri to be normal, lol.

Its so enriching to see that people finally opening about how to utilise the gods given treasure .

I ll share how I ve ahd managed , managing , will manage .

You have to admit that nobody likes to  re read Spectrum , Lakshmikanth etc . Obviously , we are doing a tiresome thing to our mind already .

so weight lifting is again going to be  a mentally driven tiresome activity . I am speaking about the long term . You can lift for one month comfortably with all that demi god motivation , Eat OMAD, Intermittent , Green tea and what not .

But Please hear this without Judgemental , Nothing is going to help you if you fail to practice all these  in a sustained manner, So Practice all these diets only you can inculculate in your following years to come by .

Try to Find protein in your regular diet with soem moderation. You cant expect a South Indian to eat Bread an Pea nutter for the rest of his life. He will relapse soon .

so where was I ? On hitting the Gym etc , Hit mostly 3 days a week with compound lifts for a years  . More than enough with adequate protein .

DONT TRY TO BE DAVID GOGGINS . period.

Treat your mind and body kind in these prep days.

Best of luck !

The wheels of time was also very decent(though expected much more considering I have read that book). Rosamund pike holds the linchpin as Moraine around which other roles have done decent work. Rand Al Thor should have been some other energetic teen like Timothee Chalamet.

I should check this out then

I only read books for escapism now, so I’m short on non fiction recommendations :))

Non fiction is in itself a very broad canvas. Would help if you could narrow it down to some themes :P

Anyway, some books that you might find interesting:

  • Guns, Germs & Steel by Jared Diamond
  • 1971: A Global History of the Creation of Bangladesh by Srinath Raghavan
  • India's China Challenge by Ananth Krishnan (not just your usual IR book)
  • Bluets by Maggie Nelson (lyrical essays about life)
