Anybody doing intermittent fasting ?

Yess..and it actually turned out to be beneficial..! Last year i researched a lot about intermittent fasting(saw lot's of videos) and read few articles....Decided the meals and what to eat what not to eat chart..i gained a lot of weight while preparing for prelims but now I am on a good track ...! But in addition to it I also do skipping and meditation which is the best substitute of all the physical workout i guess...

But yes..one needs to be very particular about the diet..! Well I got results (lost 4kgs) last year..and currently following the intermittent chart..i hope soon..I will achieve the desired target..:)

@MachineGunJoe you can try dryfruits..it prevents insulin spike(my father does that although he is not on intermittent)
And also you can try foxnuts(roasted)..a great substitute in case you are super hungry ( i started having it few days ago)

I don’t want to wake up, or study or do anything. This happened during mains prep and therefore i messed up mains as well. I have seen therapists but even after months of sessions nothing seem to help. I also took anti-depressants as prescribed but I discontinued as it didn’t seem to lift my mood.

I am only on my phone and browsing reddit or YouTube. I just don’t know how to come out of this vicious cycle. Any suggestions?

This is very difficult for me to put down on a public platform. Sorry if it triggers anyone.

I can relate..bcz few days ago I was dealing with the same situation..was finding ways so that I can't study..! See buddy padhne ka mann tabhi nahi krta hai jab yaa to bahot mehnat kr li ho( I mean so many productive days) yaa fir expected kaam naa kiya ho.. It might sound melodramatic but ask yourself ki by investing your time in all these things what kind of risk are you inviting..!

Secondly..if you are not able to study please don't..cz wo irritation alag hi hoti hai jab Mann bhi kre aur padhna bhi nahi hai...Try doing meditation..(some beneficial classes are there i can send you) Take your time and spend your day about thinking yourself..I understand your situation right now .but the fact is in any case Padhai to krni hi hai...Paper pass aa rha hai Bro..! So let's take you out from that zone..( As Pam use to find her own ways in "The office")

At the end...pta nahi whatever I said is relevant or not but yes I felt like this is so me(few days ago)..All the best Pam..:)

Just wanted to ask you all...

What is the right time and right way to do workout??(especially for those jo gym nahi jaa rhe) What do you people prefer?? And what do you people do for workout?

I try my level best ki morning mein hi kr le..But ho nahi paa rha..Socha sham ko krenge but Library se wapas aane ka time is 7:30pm..I tried skipping ( for more than 1-2 month) but usse " Library mein neend aane lgti hai"...

There use to be a time jab Subah running kr k college jaate the..and now is the time utho..bag uthao aur chal do..! If anyone has the solution please tell .! One of the reason (at the beginning) to follow IF was that...ki it is a substitute of not working out so that (atleast diet sahi rhe) bhale hi workout nahi kr paa rhe..

PS: Finding a good gym here in LUCKNOW is a big task.Olympia nahi..(cz I got some bad reviews)..

I try to exercise in the morning itself. When I try to delay it to the later part of the day, I end up skipping it altogether. Recently I started waking up late so the workout is the first thing in the morning (after I gain my senses :P). During summer times and near to the exam, I used to wake up early. I used to have the first study session and then jump into the workout (quite literally).
On good weather days, I love to go for a walk. The added advantage in summers is that the mornings are exceptionally pleasant as compared to the rest of the days.
For home workouts, I have been following fitness blender(website and youtube channel by the same name. I like website more because there we use so many filters to find the appropriate workout like time limit, intensity, workout type etc) for years. Most of the workouts are short and sweet(around 30 minutes or so including warmup and cooldown). Lately, I have switched to Caroline Girvan's workout (on youtube) as I am targeting some strength training now. Been only a few days but I feel really sore (and great :P) after the workouts.

Bhai..Thank you so much...will follow the channels..!! And i'll also start morning workout..i agree with you bro..agar delay hota hai toh bas hota hi hai...And because of that I have gained 5-6 kgs..!

I usually go on a walk post lunch but just for 15-20 mins...But Now I'll be a regular Walker..;) Quite an early riser so morning workout is not a big deal..( Bas shuru Krna is a big deal):(

I focused more on meditation..but usse weight reduce toh nahi hone wala..so a balance of both will be beneficial i guess..:/ :/

Thank you bro.!
