How was the paper guys ?
@prachimalik1121311 Not every rarity is delightful. Some may be disgrace too.
@Capedcrusader1 filhal experts discuss kar rahein he. Cooker aur arcot to mujhe bhi nahi aya isliye advanced experts ise handle karenge :D
@rawhull acha bhai karo karo.
I totally agree with you that maximum temperature is independent of the temp of the flame. But the word maximum is not
mentioned in the question. I raised this point a week ago but it seems you ignored.
Till the temp reaches its maximum in the cooker, temp of the flame matters right ? Because that’s how we are passing on the heat to the cooker. Moreover, does the weight of the lid matter ??
@srivalliguru940 temperature of the flame will always be higher than the temperature of the cooker, including the maximum temperature of the cooker
maximum temperature inside a regular cooker is ~120 degrees. Minimum temperature of an average household flame is 500 degrees. Usually it is much higher than 500
@oopsie this almost feels like clash of titans :D
@oopsie regarding weight of lid, it seems that UPSC made a typo. But weight of the lid might technically matter.
Maximum pressure the cooker can withstand is the maximum pressure the walls of the cooker can exert on the steam inside. Higher the weight of the lid, higher the downward pressure it can exert(Pressure=Weight/Area)
Hence itmightmatter. This is just my speculation
What’s the answer according to you ? 1&3 ? I accept that it’s correct conceptually. But can we say that statement 3 is fine ? Weight of the lid doesn’t matter really I think. Look into this as well, so that we can atleast confirm that D is surely wrong
@rawhull haha. there's only one titan and ultimate God - UPSC. I am beginning to think that it's better if we accept fatalism and accept whatever UPSC throws at us. There will be peace, at least on this forum :P
@srivalliguru940 yes, D seems wrong. The question might be omitted, in the unlikely event that UPSC takes someone's representation seriously
I genuinely feel that this question should be omitted. Even Devi Lal and palm oil tree are fine to some extent. But the language of this question misguided most of the science students as well. It was unclear
@srivalliguru940 yes, it is. changes the meaning completely
@oopsie yeah
Yeah but when there is a genuine error, why shouldn’t they do it once again and be careful while setting the paper from 2022 !?
@srivalliguru940 upsc has something in her mind. They must have already thought about all these.upsc is ahead of coachings and candidates in terms of everything
