[ Official ] How was the Prelims 2021 paper?
How was the paper guys ?
Hello frenzzz I see peeps are starting to gather. Confession: I have no hope of clearing the prelims because the paper and my performance were like that. Having said that I have no regrets because I’m proud of my efforts (is that too vain to admit on a public platform??) and don’t think I could have done anything differently. There’s always going to be that “I could have revised this one more time”. But realistically speaking, I made the best use of my time in what I felt was a sustainable manner. Now what will be will be.
P.S I would really like to have a chat with the people who made the CSAT paper…. Do they like torturing people or is it just a Sunday affair?

True even if we would have got 10/20/30 more days , I don't feel that scenario would have changed. Luck is key player in such cases.

True even if we would have got 10/20/30 more days , I don't feel that scenario would have changed. Luck is key player in such cases.
I truly believe in the concept that work stretches to fill the time. So I’d rather do with lesser days than more.
Cutoff 90-95 ??
90 is very likely. Paper was tough and conventional tricks/intelligent guesses/logic were hard to apply. This was coupled by factual ques, random gk & tough csat. Anyone getting 80+ is good to start with mains. Going by precedence, result might be out by month end or Nov start.

Also, not many high scorers this time, which was the case last year(elimination worked pretty well last year for some). So, Ifos cut off might also not be so high.

Tbh at this point I can't even tell if I took the paper too lightly and didn't practice enough or if the paper was actually messed up. Eh well. Que sera, sera.
How much enuf is enuf?
Btw read @Neyawn articles/video not just for motivation but also for solving csat (qn regarding 20% and 25% increase decrease). Other than this qn, paper was so messed up. :P
