Because of the corona virus issue? If it does not happen then worst affected will be people whose interview is stuck, around 600-700 such people I think are yet to appear for their interview.
@neyawn sir and others, what is your take?
This is the official Thread for discussion of Prelims Postponement, Please do not create new threads for the same.
@Sappling bro if u r so convinced then why trying convince others? ๐๐๐..accept 3 only..done
Hahahaa......bro in very first of my comment i said that its upto u am not convincing any1 just try to make some clarity as people were desperate for the ans.....
U just see i never tried to be part of other quest though i also have many reason to say on that but better to accept ur nd listen others
@Sappling jab naa hi 3 only maara hai and naa hi 123 , sala etna behes ho raha aur mein soch raha ki meine kya soch ke lagaya 1 and 2 only. Hahaha
Hahahaa......ye soch kar ki ye dono tumhe common man ke burden dikhe honge....treasury toh waise hi malamaaal h๐
@Aurang_mirasudar yaha already non financial sector likha hua hai bhai. according to your article all correct hota but upsc k question me sirf non financial debt likha hai which can be both debt held by non financial sector OR debt taken from non financial sector. It depends on upsc interpretation, though i feel upsc 3only manega.
IBC code 2016 defination of financial debt agrees with u in this.. but ll upsc go that far..
@mickeyviru kyuki sabhi ko apna answe key dene ka haq hai.. aur finally SAB COCHING KA BAAP UPSC apna key leke aayenge. :) and yeah bdw mera answer bhi 2 and 3 hai.. so finger crossed
@chikuiasbano No I mean have they given any explanation. because I saw only the answer and was not able to find their explanation.
@jagteshwar_sohal25614 not mandatory but u must qualify those merits which required to be a member of the house.....if ur age is 24 years nd 7mnth court can't barred u frm becoming the minister but if u r jst 18 thn cant be a minister because SC in his order said that "The Constitution of India, the Representation of the People Act and the rules made thereunder had been enacted to protect the purity of the election. Article 173 of the Constitution of India underlines a salutary object. It postulates that a person shall not be qualified to be chosen to fill a seat in the Legislature of a State unless he is not less than twenty-five years of age in the case of a seat in the Legislative Assembly. A person although may become entitled to vote on attaining majority, the makers of the Constitution deliberately inserted clause (b) in Article 173 so as to enable the voters to elect a person who has attained maturity and experience in life. Only a matured and experienced person can represent the people and take steps which would be beneficial to the electorates."This is SC ruling if u r above the SC thn A ans is right...
Bhai bhai the problem is not all this. Kyu magajmari kar rahe ho.
The point is
Read option a like this
Can a person eligible to vote become a minister without being a member? Yes.
Can all/any person eligible to vote become a minister without being a member? No.
The point you are saying is limited to specific subset, ie of 18 to 25 years, which was my thought process too, when I marked D. But my doubt on my self reasoning came, as I turned those questions to interrogative. The statement is too generalist, and previously we have seen UPSC give positive answers to such statements. However, I would obviously prefer 2.67 marks so..
Don't go into deep technicalities. Waise UPSC made harappan horse a non existent entity back in 2017 ๐
'It depends on upsc interpretation, though i feel upsc 3only manega. '..yes its 3 only..๐
Bhai I think gas renewable ka D hoga. Even though the passage you shared says
You have to bring renewables at the right time so you arenโt trying to bring them to market before they are actually ready,โ Mr Carroll said. โIn which case you are left with inefficient and costly subsidies for technologies that may be irrelevant in the near future.โ
But this is just an instance that if renewables are employed early, it can lead to this. But the option in statement 1 says "Govts often provide inefficient and costly subsidies". There is no proof in the article that government is providing such subsidies "often" or rarely .

Bhai aise written khojoge to kisi ke answers na milenge passage me. Bas itna likha h ki govt invested heavily on renewable energy but business houses wary of investing too much at a time when technology is not too ready. Note heavily word by govt

Firstly, investment does not mean inefficient and costly subsidies. Secondly, that is a conjecture by the author that if renewables are taken up too early, it can lead to inefficient subsidies for technology that is not ready. But it doesn't mean government is actually today giving such inefficient and costly subsidies. And that too "often". Such extreme words are rarely correct when it comes to upsc.
Hello guys, i'm getting marks in the range of 85-95 in paper 1. But in csat i'm getting 62.5-65.83 in this range. I'm from ph category (mentioning this just for the sake of clarity). After seeing my marks in csat i decided i'll start preparing for 2021 now, bcz in the upsc notification it's clearly mentioned that we've to score 33% in csat, i.e. 66 marks. But yesterday i talked to one sir and he said that in ph category sometimes they relax this criteria as he has heard so this has me highly confused. As from my experience i don't think this is true so, i just want clarity so that i can focus on my next year exam. @Neyawn sir please clarify this if you've time. And i would request others as well to respond if they've any idea about the same. Thank You.
