Relationship between scores of mocks and actual mains.

Is it possible for someone who is scoring low/average in mocks( 80-90 range) to score decent in mains (400+)?

How much did the toppers score when they were giving mocks?

You can expect between 10-15 marks more in each paper compared to the mock tests ( Mains) assuming a similar performance.

Getting 400+ should not be difficult for someone getting 90+ across papers.

Let me elaborate, unlike prelims where ur paper is objective, nobody is entitled to judge you there. One is 1, two is two. Issues begin with subjective papers. Uncles and aunts go there and judge u, they have this freedom despite scaling & moderation

This shows the difference between mocks and actual marks. As far as I can see there is little correlation between the two.
