Test 3, Q17
Statement 1: Sec. 3 of First Constitutional amendment substituted 19 (2) withRetrospective effect. It reads
Amendment of article 19 and validation of certain laws.-(1) In
article 19 of the Constitution,-
(a) for clause (2), the following clause shall be substituted, and the
said clause shall be deemed always to have been enacted in the
following form, namely:---
"(2) Nothing in sub-clause (a) of clause (1) shall affect the
operation of any existing law, or prevent the State from making any
law, in so far as such law imposes reasonable restrictions on the
exercise of the right conferred by the said sub-clause in the
interests of the security of the State, friendly relations with
foreign States, public order, decency or morality, or in relation to
contempt of court, defamation or incitement to an offence.";
Thus, it can be construed public order as a reasonable restriction does form a original part. which makesstatement 1 wrong.Contrary, "thesovereignty and integrity" was added by Sixteenth amendment and is not a original part of the constitution

@Thinker Test 9, Q30 is PYQ from year 2016. UPSC, itself, said Chief Secretary is not appointed by Governor.
Also gave answer as D but answer key here says A!
also, Q18, why is statement 2 wrong?? For statement 1, I can understand that prohibition is preventive thus can not be issued when lower court has already given decision. But for statement 2, I am clueless as Certiorari is preventive as well as curative.
yaha WWF to OR ko hi smallest bata raha.

Test 37, Q40
Doesn't pendency of cases affect Resolving insolvency and Enforcing contracts as a measure of EoDB? IIRC, Eco Survey - 18 also talks about need to reduce pendency of cases to improve EODB.
The question specifically asks for the components of the Ease of Doing Business Report. And according to world bank reduction injudicial pendencyis not one of the components. The component is Resolving insolvency.Sometimes you do not have you choose the best option that is available.
By that logic, labour market regulationis not a component in EoDB report. There are only 10 components, I don't know from where did Forum come up with 11 factors. They are giving same explanation since past 2 tests, which is wrong. I am attaching official ranking screen-shot.
Also, question is askingwhat factors are taken into accountnot what aresub-indices (which are components of EoDB)
@Thinker @root The portal is showing the following tests as "Exam Ended" instead of the "Review Result" tab. I had given these tests in the normal stipulated time in Discipline Mode and got the results as well. The name is there in the Ranklist as well. Till yesterday everything was fine but today this issue arose. Even some more tests that I had given in stipulated time at 7AM are shown as "Exam Ended" . Kindly look into this as due to this I can.t check what answers I marked and what all mistakes I made. Thankyou.
@Thinker @Neyawn Sir, the issue still persists ..can you please tell me where/whom to approach ?
I feel thedamagehas already been done. Earlier, there were only couple of tests but now this issue has expanded to more and more tests.
Same thing happened withopen teststoo. The tests got restored (as if they were unattempted), now there is no going back!
