In terms of comfort while writing for long periods, a non-interrupting ink, glide over the paper, water resistance etc.
I wrote one answer with Linc Ocean, decided it was my The One in a bout of nostalgia (it was my first gel pen in life) and ordered a hundred. Realised the next day it was hurting my fingers after writing for an hour. Please DM if anyone wants to buy 95 linc ocean pens.
After your quick Spotify decision, this is another gem! :P

😂😂
I wont be surprised if scammers start DMing me now thinking I'm a good target.
I'm not. I spent all my money on pens and apps.
@whatonly I did the same with Bic Cristal, all the ones are tried were extremely dry. Luckily I was able to return them however not before the pickup guy decided he didn’t trust me and wanted to count all 100, forgot his count twice before finally taking them away. I thought I learnt my mistake.Nope2 weeks back I ordered two boxes of Pentonic B-RT after some regretfully hasty decision making. Now they’re hidden behind some books in the hope that Maa doesn’t find them and end my trysts with pens (albeit several of them)
I feel better, thank you :P
If we have reached a stage in life where we have to hide pens from parents, some introspection is needed 😂
With huge experience of writing CSE Mains and qualifying 3 of them, I can say with conviction that Rollerball pens (Pilot V5/V7, Hauser Tech 5, Trimax, Uniball eye micro etc) are better choice for writing Mains compared to ball pen/gel pen. These pens improve legibility, presentation and writing speed.
For 2019 and 2020 Mains, i had used Hauser Tech 5. In earlier Mains, I used Butterflow and Reynolds 045. I really feel bad about coming to know about these Rollerball pens so late in life (All thanks to my vernacular Govt school education where everybody used local ball pens or Reynolds 045 at best; During Engineering, never bothered about writing).
All these Rollerball pens are quite similar in nature and you can choose one as per your convenience. Personally, i prefer Hauser Tech 5.
What's wrong with V5 except these two shortcomings?
1. Delicate nib - breaks often, specially for people with tight grip.
2. Not waterproof.
V5 being not waterproof is the biggest drawback of that pen for me.
What if I spill water on the sheets by mistake?
What if the invigilators spill water on the sheets by mistake?
What if the paper checker spills water on the sheets by mistake?
Can't risk years of preparation just because the pen wasn't waterproof.
P. S: This is just a personal opinion. I'm usually quite optimistic , but this is TOO RISKY..
Had never considered this angle. Looks like I might need to look at some waterproof pens. Any suggestions?
Got this from YouTube
I use V7 but thinking to try Hauser gel & Trimax

It's better to focus on things that WILL happen. With some pens your handwriting WILL be shabby. Thin pens WILL make your fingers hurt after 3 hours of intense writing. What you are talking about is not at all risky. I don't think these things have ever happened to anyone.
Lefty and a V5 user. Has anyone tried the recent cartridges that fit in V5 as well as V7? They are waterproof, making V5 a good deal.
Also I don’t know about others but back in school V5 was the most aspirational pen of all time. You were pretty loaded if you carried a V5. So, according to 16yo me I have made it in life.
