Hello 2021 aspirants. I thought it would be nice if we can share what we are doing and intend to do with one another here.
This could be a thread for discussing everything prep for 2021.
No one method fits all but to see the plans and progress made by fellow aspirants might help with the finer details of preparation and also keep one on track.

Done with everything for the day friends. I honestly dont know if I’m doing enough, if I should push myself further. I think I’ve come to associate an honest day’s worth of work with feeling dead tired and head throbbing. But now I’m able to stick to my targets (for the most part) and going to bed satisfied and i feel is it because I’m sticking to my targets, or consistently underachieving? Dilemmas that will never be solved, i suppose.
Enough bread for the day, now off to bed. Good night gentle folks of forum :)
You know what they say. The bread is browner on the other side.
Good morning everyone! Targets for 29/06:
1. News
2. Ankification
3. Ethics reading (should have been the final day but realistically it'll take another day)
4. Putting devices away till the end of the day except for two designated desk breaks
1. Done
2. Done
3. Unsatisfactory progress again
4. Sort of. Did take only two designated breaks but they went on forever.
Extremely busy week at work, since it’s a quarter ending. The problem with working remotely is that colleagues have no sense of boundaries. They call and email frantically, and sometimes at odd hours of the night. The goal for the week is to avoid escalations and get by unscathed. I do that by telling people that I understand the pressure they’re under, that I’m there to help, and actually following through. Can’t do that if I allow myself to be overwhelmed by the stress I’m under. So, it’s a light couple of days. 2 hours of IPR per day, if I can manage that. Being able to meet even small targets is liberating, and allows me to keep my stress in control. I’ll try my best. :)Have a productive day, my people. :)
I am supposed to be joining a job in August first week. There is slim chance of getting an extension in joining. Last week, I was very anxious due to the time crunch I will have to face along with the issues of living away from home . Your posts motivate me that I too might be able to manage somehow.. 😁👍
Good morning fellows. Target for yesterday more or less achieved.
Targets for 29/06/21
- Newspaper
- June CA backlog
- Revise two chapters of Optional
- Try to read one more chapter of optional
I figure out I work more if I keep track of the number of hours I have studied. So will target the same for today.
Good luck to all :)
1. Newspaper done
2. Ca backlog is still a backlog
3. Tried to revise two chapters of optional. Would have completed it Entirely if my stupid palm didn't start hurting.
Is it just me Or does someone else also go through this? Pain in the hand and wrist???
29/6/21
Back after a week away from studies. I hope this is the last major interruption I'll have.
Today was a slow day. Did Lagrange's Multipliers in Maths, attended half of a current affairs class and wrote one ethics case study. Also now watching The Good Place. All those ethics references in the show makes me so happy!! I feel so learned :P It's a great show otherwise too.
In this past week, more than anything, I missed coming here and reading your comments. It feels good to be back posting. Stay awesome, peeps!

Happened to me a lot while writing 3 hour tests or making notes. I used to make notes on alternate days to let my hands heal :P
Good morning folks! Woke up to the oddest dream about trying to fight evil forces (yes my brain still thinks I’m 5).

Hi. Sorry for the unsolicited advise, but consider dropping the CA backlog thing. Just do today's CA and read some monthly compilation in the end (to cover missed days).

No no this is not unsolicited at all. In fact this is exactly I should do. It's almost July now.
Your comment has given me a new perspective which I knew of but wasn't practising. Thanks ;)
