Hello 2021 aspirants. I thought it would be nice if we can share what we are doing and intend to do with one another here.
This could be a thread for discussing everything prep for 2021.
No one method fits all but to see the plans and progress made by fellow aspirants might help with the finer details of preparation and also keep one on track.

Something unrelated but interesting, especially for a bright new morning - everyone's heard of "freedom is my birthright", but this is a slightly longer extract from Tilak's speech (Nashik, 1917, first anniversary of the Home Rule League):
“Freedom is my birthright. So long as it is awake within me, I am not old. No weapon can cut this spirit, no fire can burn it, no water can wet it, no wind can dry it. I say further that no CID can burn it.”
Have a great day all of you! :D we've got this!
All those things to do and you EXCEEDED targets!? Hats off my friend. Profile picture checks out :D
Hehe, thank you, but I didn't say for how long I did the reading and the news :p turns out I had overestimated how long some things would take, fixed it today :)

I remember learning it for a speech competition in 5th. Thank you for reminding me of this again :)
Beginning again and this time I am here to stay (God, please don't let my filp floppy self go back on this again).
Target To-dos for Day (1/100): 1st of July 2021
- Indian Polity Topic 1 (Deep Work) (4 Hours) (Highlight)
- Environment Booklets (1 Hours)
- Jainism Lecture (2 Hours)
- Anki Review (1.5 Hours)
- Indian Express (1 Hour)
--
Go for a walk & listen to audiobook; Fast, Keep your blockers intact all day; Drink Enough Water
All targets done except Express, which I will try to read now. Also Polity was supposed to be 4 Hours of Deep work but half of the work was quite shallow & the mind was scattered. Anki reviews done for 1 Hour 10 minutes & the mind cannot take any more of it.
--
Walked, listened to an audiobook (Newport's Deep Work) (1.5 Hours), Fasted for 22 Hours, Water intake could have been better especially in the second half of the day. Also I was quite happy all day. Not a single low moment.
Also today's Chocolate Coffee was amazingly delicious. I ended up drinking two cups of it.
--
After the morning walk, wrote down some stuff aboutDeep Work vs Pomodoro technique. Give it a read. You may find some useful insights.

This was a really good read. The idea about “use it or lose it” makes so much sense to me. Because I’ve seen myself go from a voracious reader where I could read 3-4 books a week in school, to barely being able to read a page outside of UPSC related reading, I can say I am losing it (literally and figuratively). This is really the sign that I should get back to reading no matter what.

We also did Ramleela or some variation for our annual day. This was one odd year where they also held a speech competition. Most other years, we stuck to pot decoration/rangoli competition.
Good morning you lovely people! After a slightly-later-than-usual start to the day, lets get through the targets for 2.7.21:
