Hello lovely people. Kya haal hain sabke? Great to see new faces(although virtual) here. 

So my exams got over. Ab thoda free baithe hain. I need your suggestions on the books you guys are reading (non UPSC ofcourse). Stories, poetries, novels whatever you like. You may also share your reasons for your liking bas spoilers mat de dena. 

Also there was an active thread here in which people used to share books they have read and impt pages of those books. I am not able to find that. Can anyone share its link?

2.Bird by Bird - Anne Lammot - a great book on writing and life 

3 Remanants of separation - Anchal Malhotra - covers a lot of stories of partition and material objects 

4. A little life -Hanya Yangihara 

5. It all ends with us - Colleen Hoover 

6 .The lonely city - Olivia Lang 

7 .Duniya jise khte h - Nida Fazli ji

Hahaha thankyou sooooo much. Isme se ek toh padhi hai but baki suna nai. Dhundenge ye Sab Mahila haat mei. Let me do some returning the favour wala kaam. 

1. Crime and Punishment, Brothers Karamazov.

Both are by Fydor Doestovasky. It's not just my personal opinion but a settled debate among academic circles that these two are one of the best novels ever written. If you read Tolstoy you will find a sociological bend in his writings but Doestovasky is more pyschological.His characters get drilled in your head like anything. He will shake you from your core. 

2. Tale of two cities (London and Paris) by Charles Dickens. It is a thriller+romance set in the background of French Revolution. 

3. 'One hundred years of solitude' by Gabriel Garcia Marquez. Isko shayad noble bhi mila tha. It's engaging but thoda complex because of far too many characters in one story. Mujhe 3-4th reading mei samajh aya ye bol kya raha hai😀

4. Dawn of Everything.

Isme thoda Sapiens wala tinge hai. But it is far more engaging and intellectual than Sapiens.

5. Fabric of the cosmos by Brian Grene. If you are a Sci enthusiast you will love this.

Baki jaise mujhe yad ayega mai DM kardunga😂😂 kisi din Dinkar ji ki writing ko discuss karenge but not here in DM. Don't want to spam this place😛

Hey guys, after a long and truly tiring and frustrating day, I wanted nothing more than to just come back to my beloved prep. So I did the most low key thing, read the paper and catch up on newspaper backlog. I didn’t have it in me to do anything more. Aaj I realised I will most likely put my kid up for adoption somewhere within a year of trying to raise it.@mightyraju i had to literally use the “eyes close and head down” till 40 trick

Huge respect for teachers!! Cool matzuzaka ma'am you are. 

I’m pretty sure this school will drive me towards daytime drinking as suggested by my dear friend@HeNeArKr 😂

I went to attend college since I have been perpetually absent in my DPC class since the start. Did pretty much less than I anticipated.

1. Not done

2. Around 10 odd pages done

3.Done

@LetsGetThisBread Aww!I feel for your troubles yaar. Vaise,since Diwali is around the corner,I guess you will be troubled even more.Like I remember ki apni class mei Diwali ke time koi naa koi class mei fuki bomb(those ones that burst when you hit them hard on the ground) fodta tha when teachers' head used to be towards the board.Lol.Also kids between 1-3 are the bestest lads. Those tiny fingers which hold your finger/s in their fragile palms. Also,the joy one gets by plucking their scalp.Lol.I am toh bda wala babysitter.So, mujhe de dio adoption ke liye.
