even if you dont write mc mehta and mention instances where sc has acted proactively, it becomes a case law.
In GS 2, How many of you knew the relevant Case laws??? For Q1 (10M)
In Geography Optional, How many of you knew 1a in Paper 1 Section A : About Speleothem?? I didn't attempt it as i had no clue about it. Was it difficult question for others too ??
- I knew about MC Mehta case, NGT verdicts in different cases for Q1 in GS2.
- I knew about speleothem exactly because I'd read about it one day before the exam.
@tmblnd1325194 Environment wala perspective I think pehle bhi pucha gaya tha though in some other form. Maine issi liye ussi ke liye 4 cases mention kar diye thhe pehle se hi - MC Mehta, Lafarge Mining etc. Vohi likh kar aa gaya.Thoda flowchart wagera bana diya and tried to link it with the constitutional angle asked i.e., how SC took up various cases and how 'right to healthy environment' became a constitutional right.
I wrote how constitutionalisation is significant achievement in modern times rather showing evolution ..
Dear friends, Happy Diwali! exactly one month after mains got over, I propose we let go of what we did in Mains 2022 and get into a more productive discussion here for interviews/mains 2023 strategy for mains 2022 attempters and keep the thread going.
To get the discussion going, could somebody with knowledge of Zone IV cadres (WB, AS-MG, SK, TR, MN, NG) helpme understand the cadre order there? Any specific order that is suggested for an Aspirant raised in Delhi? Thank you! Kindly DM if you know something about these and don't want to share your views on a public forum.

@Truthseeker9 Yes, that's what we had to do. I didn't dedicate the whole answer to 'evolution'. I drew a flowchart for the purpose of representation.
