The way you attempt questions matters, in eassy I had scored 125, despite practicing only two eassy. But in gs paper 2 scored in 70's, even though I stuck to the point, gave ample examples, and left one questions.

@GOT8 uppsc releases answer key within few days afterpre. upsc shuld do that do. all this drama of searching answers would be reduced and one can focus ahead.

@Capedcrusader1yes it should be... aspirant ka kitna time, energy waste hota hai... they became most unproductive during time b/w exam and result.. (as seen in every prelims)
yadi state commission kar sakta hai... why not UPSC?

@GOT8 if they release the answers quickly in 3-4 days, open window for representations, then in a total of 14-15 days after prelim, final keys can be released and marks calculated. the same 14-15 days are being spent in a state of utter confusion and anxiety right now. right now i think, we dont even know whether they will work on representations or not. Because afterall representations have a meaning only when keys are released.

So one examiner checks the whole copy. Wonder if the model answer arrived by them is just a simple para containg the essence of the question  and anyone who writes around that essence gets the marks regardless of no. Of points written or pictures drawn .


this could decide the raw marks as mentioned in the pdf, extra points could be rewarded, that's when we see relatively better and top scores
