Yeah.. I also feel B is more appropriate. UK too has an independent judiciary but is not a federal system in true sense... That's what I thought about and marked B.

@oopsie What!!!

@harilal UK is unitary, not federal. India and Canada are quasi federal. True federation- US

@JackRyan Bro..B is more appropriate option than A. Despite having not independent judiciary..pakistan is also a federal structure.

And the Bangladeshi parliament has elected representatives from constituent units, yet it’s an Unitary republic.

@monisha27 india is a federal country. a scholar calling it quasi federal fashionably doesnt make it quasi federal.

Yes exactly... My point was that despite not being federal, UK has an independent judiciary. So, option 'a' might not be correct.

@sushil_21 B is not right, I marked B too out of hurry. But it’s wrong. It nowhere mentions bicameralism. It says elected representatives from constituent units. Even Lok Sabha members are elected representatives are these units. So no B is definitely wrong.

@Capedcrusader1 We quote those scholars only!

@monisha27 we quote scholars because its their viewpoint. their analysis. their views are not facts.

@Pam123  I consider B as wrong. But constituent units are states. Constituencies are different. LS members don't represent states.

A is also definitely wrong. Palestine is also a state, but it is not independent of external Control (Israel).

@monisha27  Anyway that’s not what’s asked in the question, it just says that these ‘ elected representatives are from constituent units’ . But according to LS website, these representatives do represent the states.

@Negan yeah, it’s an essential feature, doesn’t mean that if it’s true country would be federal. It just means that if not true, country won’t be federal. Also since B is wrong. It’s the only appropriate option.
