I gave interview twice in 2016 and 2018 and 2020 .. I failed pre. I usually take drop... I am already in Job. So depends.

gauravbrly409,Hello frenzzz I see peeps are starting to gather. Confession: I have no hope of clearing the prelims because the paper and my performance were like that. Having said that I have no regrets because I’m proud of my efforts (is that too vain to admit on a public platform??) and don’t think I could have done anything differently. There’s always going to be that “I could have revised this one more time”. But realistically speaking, I made the best use of my time in what I felt was a sustainable manner. Now what will be will be.
P.S I would really like to have a chat with the people who made the CSAT paper…. Do they like torturing people or is it just a Sunday affair?
And I like to chat with people who made paper 1 for 2021. This is the most absurd paper I have seen since 2015.
1. Static syllabus was asked .. in half or may be in 60% of paper .. fair enough.
2. In current .. What is *keep yourself more and more informed* actually means !!
- Asking anything absurd from cricket to tennis to anything. Somewhere upsc need to draw boundary to itself or have some clear guidelines as they prescribe in syllabus.
- What if somebody dont like cricket or tennis and antagonist to these dovt. Ab sports magazine bhi add kar le ek. Yojna kuru aur blah blah sab to students khaa ke jaate hi hai.
- If current happening has to be asked .. Then there must be something of past year limit. Bhai

and most of other fact based question beling to 2019 to 2020. Unfair to freshers who are attempting first time.
UPSC should have a meeting and decide a proper guidelines for pre . You cant torture the students by a blanket statement *Anything under the sun*
There should be some accountability of UPSC for the questions if they do not pertains to the given guidelines of syllabus as prescribed in notification.
Why they are spoiling lives of countless students !!
3. As said but for Rural students inclusivity in UPSC - This years paper was total anti thesis of that. Do They believe rural students have such a resources to skim everything under sun to get successful in Pre.
I believe .. No matter what UPSC wants to ask - They must stick to syllabus as prescribed in notification.
The way UPSC is designing pRe - The pre is less to be qualified by hard work but more by a very good luck.
