[Results] Prelims 2020 Over - Gearing for 2021

Because of the corona virus issue? If it does not happen then worst affected will be people whose interview is stuck, around 600-700 such people I think are yet to appear for their interview.

@neyawn sir and others, what is your take?

This is the official Thread for discussion of Prelims Postponement, Please do not create new threads for the same.

@Biradar There are actually 2 definitions of NFD on internet. One ' debt owed by non financial institutions ' ,other ' debt issued by non financial institutions'.
If we go by 'owed by', T bills have to be eliminated as t bills are mostly owed by financial institutions eg SCB. No one has eliminated t bills.
Other definition 'issued by' gives answer t bills only.

@Biradar  question mentions  According to the constitution so one has to be specific here. In Art 164(4) it is mentioned that a minister who is not a member of state legislature for 6 consecutive months shall cease to be a minister after expiration of that period. Here voter criteria is not mentioned, voter as a qualification to be member of legislature is mentioned in ROPA 1951. Answer to this question is D in all probability.

does upsc csat answer key differ from various coaching keys? have to get 11 correct out of 21 RC questions to clear csat but through various keys getting only 10 correct.

High chances of u clearing if u have cleared in the past.  Coaching key not reliable in RC.

Thanks buddy! With this, I believe I should move on. While we can speculate endlessly about cuttoffs and compare with multiple keys. I can only say, I am not crossing the line this year, and can get the vibes. In between 89-94. (Also, have doubts in few correct answers too and depends on UPSC's interpretation if it would go right or wrong). This, ends the hopes. Atleast can move on, and sleep. Can anyone believe couldn't sleep since Sunday night! Have repeatedly checked the Questions such that I remember all of them! :D All the very best to everyone out there! :)

actually it will be higher than shankar's prediction.  they have seriously underestimated how high people are scoring this year

What's the deal with the minister question?

I'm not going back to see where's the doubt. D hoga uska answer. What's the doubt

People are saying the wording is of a generalist nature. Last time upsc did one with rules followed are same as loksabha , it went with general option while coachings did a lot of hair splitting on obscure rules. So some coaching centres are just saying that it was based on art 164(4).

Wait. Now I understand.

That's like a super broad interpretation of art 164(4).

On that note, a 10 year old can be made a minister for less than 6 months, and constitutionally it'll be valid?

Bhai legislature ka criteria hi fulfil nahi karana to kisi ko bhi bana do.

I attempted 39 questions from CL and shankar getting 26 correct in both. To qualify I need 4 more passages to get correct. Kuch question CL ke alag Hain shankar se.

I relied on right 2 privacy(d) ,asset allocation(a), fdi volatile(a), pds(d),dam(c), gas based economy 2nd part (a)

I need 4 in my favor in these questions
