[Results] Prelims 2020 Over - Gearing for 2021

Because of the corona virus issue? If it does not happen then worst affected will be people whose interview is stuck, around 600-700 such people I think are yet to appear for their interview.

@JackFarmer I have three scenarios, first if I am not in the mood of talking, I do not receive the call be it anyone, second if I know that those are the friends who care for me and I need someone to share my feelings, I receive the call and and third if I know that those are just interested in my results only not in me, I ignore them.

You should realise they arenot ‘friends’ but people who like to be happy at others miseries (but their might be some out of genuine concern, u can be honest to them..they will definitely support irrespective of ur result)

tell them dispassionately 'Nahi hua'. but show positivity in spirit. tell them this was not your year. but you have hopes for the future. basically 'kill'em with your positivity and never say die attitude'.

I have a message for those who could not qualify, from my experience in this Brutal stage of CSE ("Preliminary" name does not do justice to the level of the competition witnessed in this stage).


This was my fourth attempt. I got progressively worse scores in my previous three attempts - starting from 90 in first to 74 in 2019! I moved from 74 to 110+ in 2020. And I hardly did anything different this time. 

So, what mattered? - It was my devil may care attitude in the exam hall. I had made up my mind for this attempt to be last my attempt and move on with my career. And that somehow released a lot of pressure. Anyone can ace this exam. All we need is confidence and right frame of mind.
