[Results] Prelims 2020 Over - Gearing for 2021

Because of the corona virus issue? If it does not happen then worst affected will be people whose interview is stuck, around 600-700 such people I think are yet to appear for their interview.

@neyawn sir and others, what is your take?

Also, all the containment zones will have to be de-contained before Oct 4 for the exam to take place.

@K_H_Abhishek Looks difficult as of now with 25k-30k cases daily by october it could be well above 60k so dunno how a mega exam like cse with 5L+ students assembling can be conducted. Mostly there will be another postponement.

@Agog We can only wait for vaccine instead of small talk like blaming china or something we are powerless citizens everywhere. Mostly the earliest vaccine will arrive by jan/feb ie the oxford+astrazeneca one after which everything should be back to normalcy including exams/jobs/schools/colleges.

Hi.. i opened up the portal just to check if i had filled up the right centres before(just some panic and self doubt), so io got the otp once. Now i didnt wish to change the centre, so i clicked on exit and left the portal.

So my centre remains same as before right...?! But i got final otp message and email after that even though i didnt take the process further(fill up any box on new form). Is smthg wrong? Did i mess up smthng?

Can someone check the answer structure of the question : RTI ct 2005 , was an extension of the spirit of the preamble of the constitution. However the amendment to the act goes against it . Examine

How realistic are the chances that a compensatory attempt will be given in 20201 to the applicants who are writing this year?

@srk121srk25767 very unrealistic. i wonder even upsc will be there in 20201.....i even wonder whether earth will be there?😂...jokes aside.... honestly i think don't think too much on it....i don't think they will...if they want the can shift dates. and if they change dates even to 2021 toh for compensatory attempt ki baat hi nhi aati....jinhone form bhara hai vo exam denge...

@srk121srk25767 UPSC is also conducting the two semi annual exams for NDA together, so that's also possible if prelims has to be postponed again

see the point is about predictability and probability . Would this affect your preparation, does this means you are not going to prepare for prelims....answer these questions to yourself, u'll get the answers.

But the fact still remains , before any decision or comment , you will have to wait till september (JEE/NEET exam )

Hi,

Is there any place i could get a mentor for mains ie GS+Essay? A mentor who has been to interview once or more. (At a cost, not free)

Back story : gave three mains, i get avg marks, not able to rise above that. Tried test series, didn't help. Looking for somebody who can guide me through and read every test paper i write to give feedback.
