Best Subject to begin with for UPSC Preparation
I am a UPSC aspirant. Started preparation from this month. I am an engineering graduate. Which subject will be better to start preparation. also any suggestions on optional.

Read NCERTs onlyyy.
Start with one of your most liking (generally political science/polity ncerts are good to read for freshers). Along with that take one subject of which u feel u like less but important for CSE (History or Geography). I will suggest Themes of Indian history 3 ncert books as they will reduce your fear about history.
Apart from this start reading TH or IE newspaper regularly. Economy / IR / Environment etc base will start building from it as per current issues in news.
DON'T BUY BIG BOOKS NOW ONLY.
LASTLY A FINAL SUGGESTIONS:
Rather than wasting a lot of time over which one is best subject to start with etc - start reading any subject NCERT you like. Just ensure one thing whatever you start, you do finish its full reading before moving to new one. MAKE IT A SELF PROMISE IF YOU WANT TO CLEAR CSE Early !!
