I found it's syllabus wide...also many parts of sociology like rural sociology has relevance in GS...ur graduation subject?

@dr-ahmednaaz8567they would hve read west instead pf northwest...even i started writing maharashtra etc..then realised its northwest and changed it...

@Lonewolfexplained small cultural pockets in terms of language, dress, cuisine, art and architecture then explained that unity in diversity and give and take among cultural pckets to result into national identity, example ab yad nahi aa rahe but this has been my line ab bhot jyada yad nahi kuch bhot sketchy hi yad hai

@sat_009hey.. of the total gs, how much did you attempt which you can now on retrospection call as above average?

@LonewolfThis question I somewhat remember what I wrote and so I'll contribute...
The question was "Do we have cultural pockets of small India ". I started with how cosmopolitan cities exist acting as small india with lots of cultures. Then moved on to migration caused cultural pockets of small India. Gave examples and reason for both points.

Finally then I took a stand that cultural pocket of small india as a whole cannot exist ideally. Gave reasons like NE cultures, tribals and huge linguistic differences, state led economic centres, and federal structure as reasons and ended the answer.

No idea whether my interpretation of the question was correct or not.

but i am sure about what is definitly average answer -
paperwise -
gs paper 1 ( 3 10 markers, 2 15 markers, rest paper in my opinion was above average).
gs paper 2 ( 1 10 marker was average harmonious wala plus antiisrael wala left for crunch of time, 2 15 marker were average - multilevel planning and 19th wala, rest paper was relevant and satisfactory for limited time frame).
gs paper 3 (visves did not know any specific so half answer very average, cyberdome average did not write specific, so 2 10 markers are average, forgot to write criticism of nia amendmebts in 15 marker rest paper was good).
gs paper 4 was average se acha, in one case study politicisatio of burwaucracy did not focussed much on materialism etc paper completed plus last 2 quotes very bakar answer due to paucity of time 4 5 mints me dono attempt kiya)

@Rand_Al_Thorthe question was essayish and is open to interpretation in my opinion if you have structured these points well then u will rewarded with good marks in this question.

@sat_009Gujarat,Maha aa jata ha broadly..no problem in writing them I think..

@K_9question was directed to refer a agro-climatic zone which is similar all across that region and not particular state or states situated in a direction..

@tssi dont agree but at the same time if you have included punjab, haryana and raj along with guj and maha in answer u may get marks

@sat_009North West bola ha to punjab,haryana to likh na hi ha.The whole area is quite similar with water stress and can be analysed together .you are not giving marks..so chill..nobody knows what exactly will fetch marks..

@tssi was not awarding marks, was giving opinion that if someone writes only gujrat and maha he will not get marks for this point but if other areas have been mentioned along with that marks will be aearded as the answer becomes correct and in what world maha and gujarat comes under northwest, even if climatically similar does not mean the question is asking western region too,
you should do constructive criticism and validate your opinion but you cant say that aap ye nahi karne wo nahi karne wale,
respect other peoples opinion too and i was not judgemental so u also dont become.
