Now that 1 week is over, it is time to shift focus to Mains. With barely 103 days left there is no time to waste.
@CaesarIt doesn’t mean 100% ethically correct, if there is no action.
I’m not talking about inner feeling of one who is accused, but also people in society.
@Ragsbhai i would like you to look at the incidence in a fair manner, even i was filled by this sentiment(by the primary source of media) but the more you listen to him(Kanhaiya Kr), the more you will realise that the "anti-India" is a media construct(I too do not agree with all his views, but the image being created is wrong and partial)
@Ragsethically to tum bhi galat ho...jisko man kre anti national bol do...
Tumse thodi nationalism seekhni padegi. ..bta to bhai kya kre anti national ka ...kaise pta chalta hai kiski intention kya hai...aap to expert ho ...hume bhi sikha do
@RagsBhai republic news channel jyada dekh lie ho
@RagsI wonder how many whites supported ab lincoln when he proposed abolition of slavery
@CaesarTrue that Media is creation sensational and crooked story for TRP
Not to get political but guys look at what happened. Kanhaiya and Umar Khalid were not just random students, they were members of JNU Students Union. The event was organised by Jnusu, these slogans were being chanted enmasse in their very presence. It's irrelevant whether they were chanting these slogans themselves or not. As a citizen of India you expect them to put an end to such sloganeering, which they did not. Umar Khalid even advocated their stand later.
Now put yourself in place of Kanhaiya, and imagine what would have been your response- that's the difference between anti nationalists and nationalists.
@Ragsif that election was referendum of nationalism then he got 22 percent vote share so those more than 2 lakh ppl who voted for him are also anti national ?
@TeddyWestsidei guess you can call them the real "misguided citizens of India"
@Chanakyadude who are we to give certificate to 2.69 lakh ppl of one constituency ??
@ranyo_asokaNo one is interested in this mate
@TeddyWestsideI'm not certifying anybody bhai, I'm just saying these individuals who voted for Kanhaiya may not have been fully aware of the facts of the event.
Also on a similar logic, Gopal Kanda just won an election from Sirsa, does it mean he's not a criminal or that people who voted for him are criminals? No.
Similarly begusarai election cannot be a referendum on Kanhaiya's patriotism, his response during the 2016 protests in JNU should be the benchmark for that.now such a distinction is bound to get political anyways, but still I'll ask you to put yourself in his place and think how would you have reacted to Such slogans, especially when you're accountable as student union member.
@ranyo_asoka10 dec I think, interviews by 1 Feb
@utkarsh_mishrafrom whr u took coaching
@Chanakyabhai thats what i said ki in india elections cant be treated as referendum on any particular issue as someone previously said ki he was anti national and it was decided by begusarai ppl so this is a wrong conclusion.
Regarding your second point I am not a judge and without analysing facts of the incident i can not come on any conclusion ; so what transpired there and what would had I done is out of my scope !!
And as someone cited kedarnath judgement that incident irrespective of sloganeering (which we dont know what happened) did not amount to sedition !
