Mains 2019 Preparation and Discussion Thread
Now that 1 week is over, it is time to shift focus to Mains. With barely 103 days left there is no time to waste.
@RagsOK. But if somebody says i hate india, why should i care yaar. My personal view...karne do bhai...plus we dont have exact evidence ki aisa hua b hai. "Meta-narratives" hain.

@SabChangaSisir, suppose you have a function/meeting at your home about any issue, let's say on article 370. You find that some people start chanting anti India slogans at the event. Would you let them speak their minds or atleast ask them to stop or else tell them to leave from the event. I'm not saying Kanhaiya shouted these slogans, coz to be frank Maine nhi dekha. But as union leaders who were organising the event, it was their responsibility to stop it, which they didn't do. It's not about expressing your point of view, it's about respect for nation's integrity. As a serving officer, I don't think I'm qualified to tell you what it means, you know it better than others I believe

@Chanakyadekho aisa hota hai when u r in field u will get n number of situation jisme ur in dilemma...let's take today's situation policevslawyers...if emotions se hi chalna hai to Police can take law in its hand. Plz try to understand even if one or even n is shouting slogan against Govt/State/India u just have act as per law but emotion should not take precedence.
@RagsI dont have that much wisdom but Kanhaiya is only "accused"(We have to follow what is LAW, bcz we are not politician).

Evidences are there against many JNU students, but matter was not that much serious and it can ruin students careers. That's why court just warned. However it doesn't come under sedition.
Debate is just matter of ethics and feeling.
Let's close this topic for now.
@RagsBhai u can understand from my tone that i m not for attacking anyone..my POV is we should focus on our studies. Opinions(not "evidences") present in media should not distract us. Even if they are right, you will tackle them after becoming an officer. Cheers.

I say anti national if someone says India teray 1000 tukade hongey. I too have my right here to speak in favour of my country. How can we tolerate if someone speaks wrong about India.
This is the logic that religious fanatics applied when they killed charlie hebdo for insulting islam. How could they possibly tolerate someone speaking against allah?! But that's the thing. If your faith in your nation or your religion shakes just because some random guy bad-mouths it, then it is not strong enough in the first place. Be sure that the love for your nation and your religion is sturdier than the hatred they have to bear.

I have been working as project manager in one of the IT company since last 11 years and I know how to manage and work with people impartially who are coming from different places and mindsets.
I know my strengths and weakness.
It's really surprising few people stand in first row to give advices that too without asking?

Not sure why few people wants to behave like lawyers to take a stand of anti-national elements (let's consider it is just opinion).
I'm not pointing out any individual from this forum right. But you are pointing out me repeatedly and giving unnecessary suggestions - I already told 4 times so far to stop discussion on this point.
That was my feeling and just added a line there. You consider your-self great, intelligent and worthy to manage all situations, then ignore my comment and go ahead, instead of running behind it.
Give advice if someone asks you. If you are not interested, just ignore and go ahead as you know how to respect all.

Put yourself in place of ARMYMAN who is in duty at border and , or put urself in place of family members of those who lost their lives during parliyament attack. These JNU liberal were celebrating terrorist barsi. Democracy hai Tabhi ghoom rahe hai seena chauda karke, agar ye log Saudi Arabia me hote tab pata chalta ( Jamal khasogi ).
Please don't over-glorify any service, not everyone in the forces is a noble soul. Same goes for others(civil service, police,judiciary). Corruption exists in the forces and we, as citizens should not make God out of men(like we have done for the judiciary).
