Mains 2019 Preparation and Discussion Thread

I have missed many keywords required in the answers realised after reading many coaching’s model answers ...quantity if rewarded can only take me through..

I have committed some mistakes in some answers eg. Quoting wrong article, wrong Case name etc

Moreover, with every passing day i am feeling like " I could have done better".

How much can you guys relate with me ?

I am eager to know.

@DreadfulNo. Forest Mains ended on 10-11th I guess and results came out on 20th December.

@Biryanimafia_1st of all let me tell u it was only for fun.Insiders r mostly lies aur jo insider wale hote hain wo inhi cheezon mein lage rehte hain padhte nahi hain.
As for filling 24 or 48 pages,yes I don't know how many pages upsc provides what is important is I managed to fill all with the best essays I can.
Baaki result aa jagega to pata chal jayega ki mujhe pages nahi pata hoge zjada marks milte hain ya tumhe saari upsc ki technilities pata hoke zyada.Result sab ko dharatal par la deta hai aur end mein Yeh matter karega maine zyada mehnet ki thi ya tumne na ki yeh ki number of pages kitne the copy mein.yeh pata ho ki 24 pages hain par likhne ko mall na ho to exam nahi nikalega.
Par agar mall hai likhne ko to it doesn't matter ki yeh pata ho ki kaun copy check karega kya cutoff hogi ya kitne pages hain matter nahi karega..
Baaki result bata dega yeh zyada impt.hai ki kitne pages the ya content important hai..

@bevancomkyunki agar content impt hoga aur technilities nahi to mera exam nikalega.

I wish all of you get what you are hoping for. But that is statistically improbable. At some point in our lives, most of us have to accept our reality, deserved or otherwise and realize that life is so much more than careers and exams. We all eventually embrace it. Who wants to be miserable forever? Most of you will too.

Of course it might be too soon for some of you go down this line of thought lest it makes you complacent.@Losthas a valid point and I have no worthy counter for it.@John_TitorAlso seems to have got a hold of it. Pre selection, we pray for just a name in the list. Then we pray for a better service/better postings in our service.

On an unrealted note, I am awaiting my first promotion next month to the rank of DC. Just a change in designation and salary. But it is something to look forward to and more certain than results.
