@Admgenalanezh no they don't .But one thing is common that .They write every answer with almost same quality and mostly same quantity too .

After going through topper copies, do you guys really feel that they write much much above the average..?

Aisa suna h ki har paper m top 5% logo ke scaling se marks aur badh jaate h

@Duryodhan why so?

@Admgenalanezh I am only commenting on those toppers’ jinki multiple copies I’ve seen (at least 2 from each paper) and yes, I do think they write well. By well I don’t mean jargon and something extraordinary.. but  better than the rest in terms of content, composition, relevance. (eg- Vaishaka (Singh?), Akshat Jain, Ria Dabi, Tina Dabi (acc to 2015 standards), Ankita (AIR 3 this year).
However, I absolutely don’t agree with the test series ‘best copies’ that vision / forum upload. Sometimes I think people have written those answers after going through the coaching solutions… coaching people want to stick to very narrow conventional content. And for some reason they love it when the innovation is shown in the way of writing (flow charts etc) giving content a backseat. So many times when I’ve scored less in test series and went on to compare with best copies, I felt like the evaluation has been really average & borderline unfair.

@aa12 I think  Kanishak Kataria also said something similar about coaching evaluation. Another example is Chandrajyoti Singh. If you see her answers, they’re far from the conventional ‘coaching template’, both in optional as well as GS. Ends up getting AIR 28 with History !

Chandrajyoti Singh answers if u see from iasscore site u might see them as about average but if u see her SSH copies u will se a notable difference (i may be saying reverse) but there is a difference.

@masteroptimist nothing deep. Just that she was the first batch (I think) of this new pattern. And because of her humanities and good educational background, she had an upper hand in answer writing than rest of people that year. She wasn’t the only one though, includes another girl topper as well form that year, who was a doctor. Forgot her name, sorry.
 But now most people know how to write, not exclusive to humanities students

Coaching ke evaluation scam hai , can't be correlated to actual exam performance

Mtob obviously ek level pe ane ke lie it definitely helps . Starters ke lie khaskar .

But after a certain level . Performance reflect hogi mains me can't be said .

Also it depends on type of Q asked in mains , ab kisi ko gdp wala points yaad hoga ache se uske No to milenge hi .

And tests series me aisa W ye saal shyd h aya ho kisi me

maxm jagah restricted mentality se check krte hai jo model ans me nh likha wo likh dete hai remark mai .

Ans ki originality pe marks nh dete , moreover maxm cases me senior aspirants h check kr rhe hote hai.

Originality , innovation , understanding , to the point answer and basic structuring ye marks dilwata hai upsc me .

@Bubba_gump Exactly. I also felt like this. All answers like average or above average.

@RaGa yeah, you’re right. But her SSH marks were still very less for someone who scored in 130s and 140s in the actual exam.
