How was your paper? How did you approach the paper?
Everyone who wrote mains this time I would really like to know what worked for you guys this time in prelims?
Considering the kind of unexpected paper that it was this time, still people were able to get such good marks in prelims and able to clear it, I would really like to know what worked for you and what was your 'strategy' ?
I already answered this in the prelims mistakes wala thread. Do check it out if you feel like it :)

You probably missed prelims by v close…I know you had a sound prep. Don’t doubt it. Just keep doing the needful (one ca source and basics) and you’ll be through this time. Sometimes, it’s just a matter of luck and more people should realise that.
100% agree with this. So much of the selection just boils down to luck and the random number of uncontrollable that come into play. Even the most stupid things like is it too hot that day, does your desk make too much noise all add up in the end.
MachineGun makes things more worse. MachineGun fires random stuff at people.
But he respectful.

Have read it and bookmarked it! ♥
Wo parody h 😂😂😂. Yes entertaining, but looking for 'real' horror right now
The Quiet Place was good. Both parts. Although it’s more thriller than horror.
Even better combo this , Thriller+ horror
You can try Don't Breathe
Covid k season m ye sab suggest na karo yr 😂
Watch Secret Life of Walter Mitty everyone, plssss.
Or monsoon wedding!
No other movies can be so uplifting.
Yr uplifting toh thik h but kuch horror m bhi suggest kro please if u can. 😱😱
Like upsc aspirants ki life me anyway horror ki koi shortage hai kya? 😂😂
Shortage toh comedy nd tragedy ki bhi nhi h 😂😅
I know this is a wrong thread to post a song but here's a recent gem for all the warriors who wrote Mains. This one talks about going easy on things at times.
One of the lines say "jo hai tera labh jayega kar ke koi bahaana, tere bass mei kuj vi nahi hai dil nu eh samjhavan..."
You've done it all. Now just sit back and have some quality me time, you sweet peepul.
Jajantaram Mamantaram
Whew, I missed a lot in 2 days. But guys, I have a question. I have a 1.5 year gap now after graduation (I know it's likely most of us do) but while I wait on the mains result I think I need to find a job. The initial plan had been a bit different, but I don't think my current circumstances will let me go on for too long with only UPSC.
So everyone who got out of the rut and is now preparing for UPSC on the side while also doing something else, what do you do? What exams did you take? Did you get back to the corporate sector, and how do you justify nothing on your resume for a few years? Also is anyone doing higher studies?
I'm a bit clueless on this front, any help would be great
I wanna ask u guys regarding exam condition this time around... My centre was in mumbai and in my room about 24 candidates were there, of them about 4-5 had constant cough. On the last day it was quite funny as most of them were coughing which seemed co ordinated.
Anyways, since after the day of exam I fell ill and with symptoms mostly similar to omicron i dint get tested assuming I was in a hotspot and likely to contract it. Been confined to bed with no breathing difficulty but fever and body ache. Is anyone out there in a similar situation?
