No score card visible on my dashboard. Pl help
Dear Students,We faced a technical issue regarding score calculation where our machine rounded off the score for majority of candidates attempting Simulator 1. We have revisited the copies of offline students and have reevaluated their copies. The current scorecard reflects corrected result of students who have attempted the test in offline mode. 49 people scored 110.33
50 people scored 108.33
43 people scored 88.33
48 people scored 111.67 (etc etc)
Are these marks (110.33 or 108.33 or 88.33 or 111.67) even scorable in a prelims exam?
What combination of Corrects and Wrongsgives 110.33 or 108.33 or 88.33 or 111.67? I cant find any when I tried. I think, with no combination one can score "110.33". The marks list has bunch of such other numbers.
Simulator 0 has none of these marks - so it looks genuine.
While Simulator 1 new list - has these marks which are impossible to score.
As a person who gave the test , I doubt whether marks list is genuine.
Imight be wrong in worst case. It is looking like they are not genuine(high chances) .
As a request previously I have asked:
Why don't you give Full name and Full Roll Numbers for every mark just like you did for simulator 0?
Also you can give marks break up: likeCorrects and Wrongs for all the marks. This will show that marks are genuine. Because some marks like "110.33 or 108.33 or 88.33 or 111.67" are looking impossible to achieve for any combination of correct and wrongs.

my offline rank on the portal almost 1/3rd the rank shown in the pdf above.
The only reason we join a test series for prelims is to gauge our standing with respect to other aspirants.
if that system is flawed then the whole point of writing the test is lost.
that said, i have faith in forum to address it before the next simulator this Sunday.

The issue I mentioned is different.
It is possible to score 110 or 110.67.
But it is impossible to score 110.33 marks.
No combination of corrects and wrongs can give 110.33 score.

Currently, there are no revisions planned to the list. This is an offline list. There are 7-8 state adminsitartive academies and hostels which take the forum paper, make their students write the test, and check and send the score to us, which is collated by farej. So any changes will not be able to communicate to each of them, who also have their institute level list.
Simulator 2, will have clear names, masked roll numbers , right , wrong and final marks.
Like it should have been. A good score in this paper would be anywhere between 101-103.
Let us focus on Sim 2. One day left for that.

1. Your rank in the PDF is a better reflection of where you currently stand.
2. There is a massive effort that most people will put in last two months, so it's a volatile position. Try to maintain your rank irrespective of papers.
3. Make sure you a diary of mistakes where you note down concepts that you got wrong. Study them, and also read aboutbthem on wikipedia first paragraph.
4. Everyday do try to devote 60-90 minutes on the internet researching keywords and concepts. Especially with SnT , Enviornment and subjects where no "Bible" exists.
