CSE 2022: Plan/ Strategy/ Daily Routine

This is an everything thread for all stuff 2022. You can post your daily goals, end-of-the-day updates, weekly targets or any weird thing you use to measure your progress. You can put into words & post the soul-sucking sadness that is threatening to devour you & your productivity. You can write what made your day & let others experience the happiness too, at least vicariously. This is a thread to pick each other up. This is a thread to keep each other accountable. This is a no-judgement zone.

--------

“This is one more piece of advice I have for you: don't get impatient. Even if things are so tangled up you can't do anything, don't get desperate or blow a fuse and start yanking on one particular thread before it's ready to come undone. You have to realize it's going to be a long process and that you'll work on things slowly, one at a time.”

Have been going through a bad phase these last few days, miss November when I would be able to study well without any distractions due to the post prelims rage. Now, I'm back where I was last year with prelims coming at a seemingly faster rate than what I had expected. Need some discipline back in life and what better place than this thread. Going to start slow but need to pick up pace by 1st April.

Targets:

  • Finish Economy
  • Environment PYQs (30)
  • Newspaper
  • IF all done, Mock Test

Also, thanks for everyone who wakes me up. Really appreciate it.

All the best everyone, hope we all do justice to the goals that we've set out for ourselves! :D

Good morning people!

I did all the targets except PYQs. I attempted them but yet to finish the analysis. Having a late start to the day after a long time, long way to go to build discipline.

Targets:

  • Environment PYQs analysis
  • Agri Bodies
  • Newspaper
  • Eco Test + Analysis
  • If time, Budget test

@Lawstice  can you tell how do you manage your daily time table. I am unable to study anything else apart from my SFG prep+ test & analysis+ newspaper. It would be of great help if you provide some insights. Thank you

It also depends on how well you can remember things.
Personally, I have a below average memory. Therefore, taking notes of the facts that I felt were important from the test series helps in last minute revision...

Can you tell how do you manage your daily time table. I mean I am unable to study anything extra apart from my SFG test + it's analysis+ current affairs. I have first time enrolled to this prog. It would be really helpful if you suggest so as to how I can improve on it.

Bro I finish SFG syllabus by lunch. Then pick something else like today it is Spectrum(most of which I've already covered so doing tests along, I finish a subject first then do tests or revise if solved before). I do this till sometime pre dinner n then pick CSAT. Analyse SFG test Post dinner(I've kept it here cuz screen causes me fatigue n can't study much after that) n also do current n Newspaper. Sleep at 11.

There are no watertight time segments, I just believe in finishing the decided targets.

Also, everyday can't be same so don't worry a lot n move on.

People, am done with Vision's sectional tests. What should be the forward testing program? I feel it's early for full length tests and not testing at all is also not a good idea. What test series would you suggest? Forum's contains some 30 tets(seems unfeasible at this time). Any other recommendations?

Hi,

I can’t find the link to Forum prelims Test series, that only consists of Full Length Test. I can only find the All India Series + Batch 5, both of which have subject tests included.

Can anyone send me the link to Full length series, please ?
