Hi friends, it’s good to be back on forum after long. Seeing familiar names from YPT gives me positive vibes. My huge respect to all pursuing their dreams passionately and sorry for all the unsolicited wake ups.
Our celebrations at home for holy festival of Maha Shivaratri have started. Lord Shiva has huge symbolic significance in my life. My father sahab has named me after him. We consider this festival as new year. So taking resolution in this holy week, I am promising myself to post daily targets here and review them every night for 21 days.
Past few days had been productive, however my preparation is never plan based. I pick up topics based on mood. Over time, it leads to nowhere. So this time, lets do it in planned manner.

Not as much a good day as much I planned it inside out. Entire February, I worked on GS Mains. Now switching to Pre and PT will take some resistance.
- Morning meditation done, evening one missed.
- Prelims (I started with Polity previous year mocks, found them intimidating for the reason that its been long I have looked at Laxmikant. So switched to the text book, did two chapters) (1)

Lets start this March very well ✌️
One of the good days to start a new month. However, the old habit of picking up subjects based on mood and not bidding them good bye after allotted time won’t go easy.
Reviewing now - Meditation (done, will resume dairy writing from now on). Spectrum (just 1 hour) Csat (didn’t start) PT (did newspaper and Hijab controversy issue)

I’ll count it as a good and productive day. Couldn’t study as many hours, but the day was indeed different in the breed and self assuring. I feel more confident about life this way.
Reviewing now - almost everything done except Spectrum and DW. Past couple of days had been disproportionately spent on PT, primarily because of associated excitement about new things and optimism biasness 3.0, but now would be more pragmatic in coming days. Would take in Pre full and PT less day for some days.

Just another average day. One friend here has shared a very meaningful line. Things dont just happen on their own, they are made to happen. Very much soothing to read it after day long efforts.
Reviewing now, Spectrum would take couple of more hours. Diary Writing yet again pending. Will plan this tomorrow on priority basis.

Wishing everyone a healthy weekend !
Sudden change in middle of the day, gave myself a half day off. This break has come after a long time. I zoom called my college friends, the laughter that followed was unprecedented. Fond memories !

Monday was indeed colorful. Long live such days !
First half was lethargic. Picked up the pace in the second half. Towards the end, I watched MEA media briefings on Operation Ganga in their youtube channel. I believe IFS is very much a professional service. Even with limited resources at hand, they are doing things really well. All previous Evacuation Missions have enriched confidence in our Diaspora.
Reviewing now - Laxmikant challenge made it a long day. Considerable portions done, what is left, we will read after couple of weeks. Everything else done, missed the Cleaning Meditation though.

Today was another healthy day. Generally for past couple of years, I have been restraining most of the temptations and do not easily submit to going with the flow. Today I made a little break. Since everyone around is discussing what a good movie The Kashmir Files is, hence I could not stop myself watching it. Truly a masterpiece, yahi sach hai.
Reviewing now - Meditation missed, PSIR untouched. PT done. Also watched Rajan’s interview with Karan Thapar. I personally do not subscribe to his views. Would sleep little less to compensate for the entertainment part.

An average day with amazing dinner. With results being delayed, it has eased my nerves for now.
Reviewing now - meditation missed again, not a good thing, even when i tried, i just could not keep my eyes closed. PT portion considerably done. Leisure time was good.

Calling it a day, too early today. Will watch some movie. This sudden news of upcoming result would take time to sink in. Won’t fake it, but i am as much nervous as much I am excited.
Reviewing now - meditation resumed, Stock Exchange missed, Jammu Kashmir considerably done. My love for the land has ensured i went too much in depth and not dimensions. Will correct it in coming days. Below average day overall.

Today was not a good day. Flunked in Mains once again. Doing it consecutively is not ordinary. It’s extra ordinary. This entire cycle has been very much confusing for me. Clearing prelims effortlessly, flunking in mains with efforts. I shall work on changing orientation towards Mains, and it will take time. Will ensure good enough answer writing practise. Meanwhile, some of my best friends have cleared this stage, I am just so happy for them and family.
Reviewing now - watched some random stuff here and there, nothing concrete. Watched a movie just now - The Lunchbox, could relate very well.

1. No major targets as such - my father sahab has planned to take me somewhere on a short vacation, i am just very curious.
2. Will look towards psc mains, limited days are left, limited choices are left.
Haar nahi maanenge. A battle is lost, war still remains.
Today was much better than what should have been otherwise. My sincere thanks to all fellow friends who have reached out personally. Thank you all for good wishes and care.

Not a good day, and i am sure more such days are awaiting. Ajeeb si mohabbat ki hai upsc ne mere saath, kabhi khushi kabhi gham.
But today was special for some other reasons. Today marked the 21st day of promise made to self regarding posting here and reviewing them without a break. I will continue this exercise, but won’t promise it this time. Promises should not be made on little casual things, let the words uttered weigh significant trust and faith.

Another good day. All credit goes to unprecedented date sheet of jkas exams. Studying these days is too much efforts taking. Generally, it has been a fight against time, now it’s a fight against self.
Reviewing now - the mock test I wrote in 3 shifts with cumulative time of 4 hours +. Not good. 50% revision of GS 3 round 1 done, 50% left.

Bhaiyoen behanoen ko baisakhi ki hardhik shubhkaamnayein. On this auspicious day, I will resume once again my good habit of Pranayama. Candid conversation with my dost made me realised how I started it during first wave of pandemic, continued for 8-9 months, how it transformed my body energy and when i was doing well, i let it go. Good habits should not be left.

How is sleepy classes sociology paid course? Is the content same as YouTube free videos?
Some videos were literally youtube ones, some were shot newly but same content on youtube ones, some extra content (pdf and video maybe but I did not get time to watch these).
(In my opinion, cost to benefit ratio of free youtube ones are better than paid.)
* But to each his own, this is only my personal opinion.

Hi friends, it’s good to be back on forum after long. Seeing familiar names from YPT gives me positive vibes. My huge respect to all pursuing their dreams passionately and sorry for all the unsolicited wake ups.
Our celebrations at home for holy festival of Maha Shivaratri have started. Lord Shiva has huge symbolic significance in my life. My father sahab has named me after him. We consider this festival as new year. So taking resolution in this holy week, I am promising myself to post daily targets here and review them every night for 21 days.
Past few days had been productive, however my preparation is never plan based. I pick up topics based on mood. Over time, it leads to nowhere. So this time, lets do it in planned manner.

- Prelims (last year’s geography and polity mocks - let’s see how many can be revised and if doing it is fruitful) (6)

Looking forward to a good start !
Not as much a good day as much I planned it inside out. Entire February, I worked on GS Mains. Now switching to Pre and PT will take some resistance.
- Morning meditation done, evening one missed.
- Prelims (I started with Polity previous year mocks, found them intimidating for the reason that its been long I have looked at Laxmikant. So switched to the text book, did two chapters) (1)

Lets start this March very well ✌️
One of the good days to start a new month. However, the old habit of picking up subjects based on mood and not bidding them good bye after allotted time won’t go easy.
Reviewing now - Meditation (done, will resume dairy writing from now on). Spectrum (just 1 hour) Csat (didn’t start) PT (did newspaper and Hijab controversy issue)

I’ll count it as a good and productive day. Couldn’t study as many hours, but the day was indeed different in the breed and self assuring. I feel more confident about life this way.
Reviewing now - almost everything done except Spectrum and DW. Past couple of days had been disproportionately spent on PT, primarily because of associated excitement about new things and optimism biasness 3.0, but now would be more pragmatic in coming days. Would take in Pre full and PT less day for some days.

Just another average day. One friend here has shared a very meaningful line. Things dont just happen on their own, they are made to happen. Very much soothing to read it after day long efforts.
Reviewing now, Spectrum would take couple of more hours. Diary Writing yet again pending. Will plan this tomorrow on priority basis.

Sudden change in middle of the day, gave myself a half day off. This break has come after a long time. I zoom called my college friends, the laughter that followed was unprecedented. Fond memories !

Monday was indeed colorful. Long live such days !
First half was lethargic. Picked up the pace in the second half. Towards the end, I watched MEA media briefings on Operation Ganga in their youtube channel. I believe IFS is very much a professional service. Even with limited resources at hand, they are doing things really well. All previous Evacuation Missions have enriched confidence in our Diaspora.
Reviewing now - Laxmikant challenge made it a long day. Considerable portions done, what is left, we will read after couple of weeks. Everything else done, missed the Cleaning Meditation though.

Today was another healthy day. Generally for past couple of years, I have been restraining most of the temptations and do not easily submit to going with the flow. Today I made a little break. Since everyone around is discussing what a good movie The Kashmir Files is, hence I could not stop myself watching it. Truly a masterpiece, yahi sach hai.
Reviewing now - Meditation missed, PSIR untouched. PT done. Also watched Rajan’s interview with Karan Thapar. I personally do not subscribe to his views. Would sleep little less to compensate for the entertainment part.

An average day with amazing dinner. With results being delayed, it has eased my nerves for now.
Reviewing now - meditation missed again, not a good thing, even when i tried, i just could not keep my eyes closed. PT portion considerably done. Leisure time was good.

Calling it a day, too early today. Will watch some movie. This sudden news of upcoming result would take time to sink in. Won’t fake it, but i am as much nervous as much I am excited.
Reviewing now - meditation resumed, Stock Exchange missed, Jammu Kashmir considerably done. My love for the land has ensured i went too much in depth and not dimensions. Will correct it in coming days. Below average day overall.

Today was not a good day. Flunked in Mains once again. Doing it consecutively is not ordinary. It’s extra ordinary. This entire cycle has been very much confusing for me. Clearing prelims effortlessly, flunking in mains with efforts. I shall work on changing orientation towards Mains, and it will take time. Will ensure good enough answer writing practise. Meanwhile, some of my best friends have cleared this stage, I am just so happy for them and family.
Reviewing now - watched some random stuff here and there, nothing concrete. Watched a movie just now - The Lunchbox, could relate very well.

1. No major targets as such - my father sahab has planned to take me somewhere on a short vacation, i am just very curious.
2. Will look towards psc mains, limited days are left, limited choices are left.

Not a good day, and i am sure more such days are awaiting. Ajeeb si mohabbat ki hai upsc ne mere saath, kabhi khushi kabhi gham.
But today was special for some other reasons. Today marked the 21st day of promise made to self regarding posting here and reviewing them without a break. I will continue this exercise, but won’t promise it this time. Promises should not be made on little casual things, let the words uttered weigh significant trust and faith.

Another good day. All credit goes to unprecedented date sheet of jkas exams. Studying these days is too much efforts taking. Generally, it has been a fight against time, now it’s a fight against self.
Reviewing now - the mock test I wrote in 3 shifts with cumulative time of 4 hours +. Not good. 50% revision of GS 3 round 1 done, 50% left.

Bhaiyoen behanoen ko baisakhi ki hardhik shubhkaamnayein. On this auspicious day, I will resume once again my good habit of Pranayama. Candid conversation with my dost made me realised how I started it during first wave of pandemic, continued for 8-9 months, how it transformed my body energy and when i was doing well, i let it go. Good habits should not be left.
