This is an everything thread for all stuff 2022. You can post your daily goals, end-of-the-day updates, weekly targets or any weird thing you use to measure your progress. You can put into words & post the soul-sucking sadness that is threatening to devour you & your productivity. You can write what made your day & let others experience the happiness too, at least vicariously. This is a thread to pick each other up. This is a thread to keep each other accountable. The story of elephant and dog, both got pregnant, by the end of year 1 dog already had more than a dozen puppies while elephant was still pregnant. Dog asks to elephant are you even pregnant? Elephant gracefully answers What I am carrying is not puppy but an elephant.
Moral: Don't lose faith and hope when you see other's prayers getting answered and don't be envious of other's testimony. Be hopeful, focussed and hardworking.

2 weeks of SFG are over. I have done stuff but very hard to say if I am confident with what I have done. Now I can feel what happens when you drop your guards for one year and go back to start again. You expect alot from yourself.

Okay so, with weekly list out I thought I would be out of top 100 with the kind of performance I had in the past week but to my surprise I am still there and infact improved rankings. Entering week 3 of SFG with good enough rest. Let's see how it goes.

Political fever is on the rise with election season around the corner. Sometimes I get amazed with the level of political awareness people have in general. Opinions I form are usually social media driven or some readings of quality material but people with no access to digital media, amazingly, do know stuff from mere newspaper reading and discussions. Anyway moving to usual chores :D

Took another break. Breaks are contagious you just can't control once you are exposed to one. I can feel a little dip in my enthusiasm as a result poor score today. Will certainly come back stronger.

First half went well but I slacked off in the second half. Procrastination breeds more procrastination. Was able to finish all targets except the backlog but I'm far from what an ideal prep routine needs to be like.

Could not start mathematics and was not able to finish the required portions for today's test. Will have to improve productivity per hour to catch up.

Have a question..anyone here who has been using Evernote on tab for a while now? Did you face any issues with the app? Also would you recommend going for a paid subscription of it?..only for upsc prep usage.
Have been using onenote on laptop till now. Recently switched to a tablet.. found the Evernote app better than onenote's app...in terms of ease of use. Yesterday lost a part from my notes on Evernote because of some internet issues (app couldn't sync properly). This has never happened with onenote because it saves notes offline as well. Now I am a bit sceptical about continuing with evernote.

I personally don't like Evernote. One note is much better in all aspects. I earlier too was an Evernote user, but the glitches pushed me to go for one note. Nd I am used to it since few days.

Ah that's too bad. There is a very active Evernote user forum, you could check that out.
Evernote has its own problems, I'm still using the legacy version because they don't have the tabs feature in the updated version. Would have shifted to One Note but the inertia is too much and I don't think I can manually transfer all that content, if you can then do try it out :)

I went through people's comments/issues on Evernote forum. A lot of people seem to have similar issues. And people do have issues with one note too. I spent too much time reading about them....this Evernote vs onenote debate seems to be endless... something i can ill afford rn.
I think I should just continue with evernote... Will be careful before closing the app now.. will let it sync peacefully.
