This is an everything thread for all stuff 2022. You can post your daily goals, end-of-the-day updates, weekly targets or any weird thing you use to measure your progress. You can put into words & post the soul-sucking sadness that is threatening to devour you & your productivity. You can write what made your day & let others experience the happiness too, at least vicariously. This is a thread to pick each other up. This is a thread to keep each other accountable. This is a no-judgement zone.

“This is one more piece of advice I have for you: don't get impatient. Even if things are so tangled up you can't do anything, don't get desperate or blow a fuse and start yanking on one particular thread before it's ready to come undone. You have to realize it's going to be a long process and that you'll work on things slowly, one at a time.”

Hello friends, I am back after a college induced hiatus and needless to say I’m excited to get back into the familiar and well loved routine of CSE. Targets for 17.2.22 are:
Polity- 1/3
Essential college work
Dec 2021 C/A backlog- 1/3
Daily C/A
Editorial- IE+ Hindu
Skim other papers
Fasts and feasts- 1/10
Hopefully skipping classes for 2 days will be worth it. Trying to push and get as much out of my long weekend as i can. Let’s get this bread and all the bread we can, folks!
Managed to finish everything except editorial and other newspapers. Also couldn’t read my book. But man it feels good to get back to the books. I never thought i would find myself humming “Pyaar Hua Ekrar hua” while flipping through Laxmikant XD
Hello everyone, I'll share my daily plan here and will post updates daily. I am new to this but I hope it will create mental pressure on me to complete my targets. I will start my day at 6.30 pm and will update at 5.30 every day then I'll go for a walk.
Target 17/02/2022
1. Walk (Listen to current affairs videos)
2. Economy 3 lectures @ 2.00x (3.5 hours)
3. Polity read (3 hours) SFG level 2, 1st part
4. Newspaper + Current affairs (2.5 hours)
5. Geography (3 hours) 0.5*1st part of SF
Update 1: I have wasted my study slot after evening on football match and talking to a friend. So, I have to delegate my target from tomorrow. I am feeling guilty, I hope next time I open this app I can recall of this answer
Hello everyone!
I am posting something here after about 1.5 years. Left preparing for UPSC 2021 last year, skipped prelims, tried to work a bit more on optional (math), and giving the exam this year (2022).
Got to revise static portion quickly, and take a lot of mock tests, to avoid repeating the mistake I made in 2020 pre. Any advise on my daily routine/targets will be welcome, and I thank you in advance for showing concern for me.Today's target -
100 pages of Modern India (Spectrum) - Dunno whether will be able to complete this till 3 am, till now I have done only 15 pages :(
Forgot to update yesterday-
Did 40 pages day before yesterday. - Not a very good day
And 70 pages of Modern India yesterday.
Dunno how to speed up the reading of modern India. I keep getting stuck at the facts, there are just so many names, dates and events in the religious reform movements chapter and the revolts before 1857 chapter.
Also, I noticed that they updated quite some movements and personalities in the new spectrum (2020 edition) since 2019 edition, and 2018 edition. (I have both, as I bought a new spectrum after the old one became tattered)
Any suggestions, whether I should buy and read the new one, or continue with 2019 edition would be welcome.
Targets for today ( 17th Feb)
- Newspaper + Civils Daily -- done
- Red Book Agriculture Revision (2/4)
- CA Notes Revision
- Sriram IAS Economy (Yesterday's backlog+ 2 more chapters atleast)
- Optional: 1 hr
Economy targets only partially done which means more backlogs. Rest more or less done.
Targets for today(18-Feb)
- Newspaper + Civilsdaily --done
- Agriculture Red Book (3/4)
- Economy (Backlogs)
- CA Class
- Optional - 1 hour
Another 150 seats added by UPSC yesterday. 1000+ vacancies after a long time. All the best everyone.

I dont think this is the time to cram facts and all.. there is still some time for prelims.. when the time for cramming arrives, you will cram it fairly decently in a less amount of time.. Don't worry too much about facts and all..
And regarding new edition.. continue with ur old book and maybe skim through the new content in the latest edition.. sometimes they add new stuff just for the sake of it.. Check out PYQs and see if there is any utility of what they have added..

70 pages is a good enough pace, idk why you are fussing over it. I read 40 pages of spectrum yesterday and was feeling content with myself 🤦🏻♂️.
Didn't post for last few days. Resuming from today.
- Electrodynamics: 2 chapters.
- Rau's December focus.
- Indian Express
- Vision Test 9: 50 questions.
Let's go. Let's cook.
Completed yesterday's batch.
Today's targets are numerically fewer but need a longer stretch:
- Electro: Numerical Problems.
- Vision 50 MCQ.
- Writing 1 Pending Test.

Thanks.I always thought a photo of just one bird can't be this good. But then I realised..Toucan. 🙊Yes, was supposed to be a toucan 😅
I knew it was a toucan. Beautiful drawing. Please share more of these!
BTW you'll ignored the 'Toucan ~ Two can' joke. 😕
Lame jokes are meant to be ignored ..
@Rubi990 Please tell me it wasn't lame. 🥺
Oops, I did not even realise it was a pun 😂
In that case, my comment wouldn't have made any sense at all. 😅😅
Hahaha yes, I tried to make some sense of it. Didn't get it 😂
