Could you guys please suggest a cost efficient printer that I can use for online tests. Which one do you use? I am willing to spend ~10k.

hp 1020 plus. using since 2 years. no issue whatsoever. printed more than 7k pages.

cons- older model, overpriced, low availability, black n white, no auto duplex(though manual works fine)

pros- efficient, workhorse, high quality, low maintenance, brand, easy repair, easy and cheap refill, most printing shops swear by it, durability, simplicity

buy it without a second thought. dont waste time pondering over this vs epson vs canon. not much difference. youre welcome.

Yes even i am using 1020 plus, running fine since 1-2 year, economic friendly

And yes u have to manually turn the paper

Only concern is some time it take too paper instead of one

@Joeyisthebest bhai  I am doing every act separately + labour codes 2020 because questions will be asked from previous acts but make sure read only general pointer rather than going into details .

@thecuriousgirl I have appeared for uppsc  mains but failed to qualify for interview buy one thing I can tell only preliminary exam is the problem because facts are asked ruthlessly .
If you okay with GS mains studies little bit it would suffice for uppcs  mains .
Being 24 myself from UP it I can tell you that currently uppsc  entire examination process is going swiftly than any other state .
Just go for it with full dedication and focus on ghatna  chakra  for pre  .
Good luck

@Lbsnaa2021 but isn't ghat a Chakra really bulky for all subjects... moreover do they come in English?

@Jon_Targeryan yes ghatna  chakra  are bulky but cost benefit ratio is high .
It comes in English please Google

@Jon_Targeryan They look bulky but that is because there is questions are repeated. Similar kind of questions asked by different state exams are often given separately. Also, the way upsc is getting into factual area especially with respect to history, if you are preparing for state PSC through Ghatna Chakra can provided you benefit in upsc prelims also. Of course, not worth the effort only for UPSC.

Can ayone who is very familiar with UPPSC shed more light on the utility of Ghatna Chakra? I am appearing for coming UPPSC after multiple failure in CSE so far. To gauge the pattern, I attempted 2020 UPPSC paper and had been able to mark only 60 Questions effectively which is 30 Qn short of the prevailing cutoff. How to bridge that gap? Which areas to focus? Is doing Ghanta Chakra sufficient? I also don't want to compromise on UPSC prelims.

Thanks . I am trying to focus on Prelims , Prelims is the biggest barrier for those preparing for upsc i think.

Ghatna chakra 2021 is the latest one and all subjects will be available by April end. At present only Polity and Science is available.@Luffy  you can buy them at Amazon.

@Master for current affairs, buy either Parikhsa Manthan or E-Drishti Current Affairs can be our go to material. Pariksha manthan comes out on a quarterly basis(the latest one is out), and e-drishti is the annual version from feb 2020 to March 2021.

Giving my first attempt at both UPSC and UPPSC , trying to complete static for UPSC , but as everyone says for UPPSC have to read ghatna chakra, I think I dont have that much time to do them. And going through PYQ of UPPSC , prelims seems a hurdle. Any ideas on how to go forward? should i leave ghatnachakra and maybe do the current affairs. Pls shed some light.
